Worth it!
Fantastic. For my big joes series 1 perfectly. It holds temp great (depending on charcoal). This thing is massive and is quite cumbersome, it’s worth it. We have had a lot of success making pizzas and absolutely love this thing.

WE BE GRILLING SOME PIZZA
I really wanted the DoJoe to make the most of my KJ, and it does not disappoint. We made pizzas the first day we had it and everything about setting up and using it was easy. We loved the crispy bottom that you get with a stone baked pizza and the charcoal fired flavor was excellent. Can’t wait for the next pizza night! If you can find one in like-new condition from Amazon, don’t hesitate, get it. It is such a fantastic value to expand your KJ capabilities with this accessory, as opposed to investing in a separate pizza oven.

Spendy, but good buy
My son loves this and we use frequently. Little heavy and breakable, but suppose that's needed for good heat management.

Works great. One issue
Works well. Kind of difficult to get setup and I would recommend an extra set of diffuser plates as they are fragile and difficult to get in and out. Good quality construction and after following some online instructions I was able to get it stable temperature wise. I highly recommend using less charcoal than you’d think and that you buy a pasted Thermometer because the cooking surface was typically about 100 degrees hotter than than the top reading. Once I got that sorted out, we were able to make great pizzas, breads, even a casserole in a low cast iron dish. Subtracting one star because it isn’t closeable. You basically waste any extra charcoal left over.

Nice addition to my Kamado Joe
Made two different pizza’s on my new DöJoe and both came out very good. I baked them at 550 degrees since I had ready made dough from my local pizza place and I know the dough contained sugar…. (No sugar pizza dough may be baked at higher temperatures without burning the bottom of the crust) The DöJoe is easy to install and fits perfectly my Kamado Joe Classic , the included instructions are no brainer. The DöJoe does not include half moon deflector stones and nowhere it says that it does, so not sure why some people here are surprised that they didn’t come with it. I would recommend buying another set of deflector stones if you smoke a lot on your Kamado Joe grill, it will eliminate the need for removing the half moon stones from jour DöJoe each time you prepare another cook. Tip: use wooden pizza peel to place pizza in the oven and metal one to remove it. The wooden pizza peel does not heat quickly, thus you have time to slide your pizza into the hot oven without the chances of your dough to get stuck to pizza peel. You work hard to prepare your pizza so don’t mess it up on the very last step!

Really makes pizza easy
This thing is awesome. Once up to temp, you can shovel pizzas in and out quickly without opening the grill. Creates an air cushion between your heat deflectors and the pizza stone to prevent burning. One downside is weight; the Big Joe version of this thing is heavy once you load it up with the diffusers and your pizza stone. Too heavy to lift hot ... you have to let the coal burn out and then let the DoJoe cool off before moving. That's OK by me, since I use pizza cooks to clean my grill anyway. But if you think you're going to remove this thing and close your grill to save charcoal, forget it!

I've wanted to build a Forno oven for years, I just don't have the space for it. The Vision Kamado and DōJoe has filled that void nicely. Not the 900°F the pizzerias in Naples enjoy, but at 650°F nothing gets too lost in translation. Great results at 400°F too. Lump charcoal and a few chunks of hardwood produce a true wood-oven flavor. The Classic DōJoe works like a charm on my Vision Grill, once I figured out to remove the shock absorber. It's not necessary but you can see in the image that it is an obstacle. Long handle pizza peel and tongs are also a good idea, this thing gets really hot. As far as quality, it seems well made -- I've used it about 4 times now. If using a Vision Grill make sure you have the heat deflector or you'll be buying a very expensive pizza stone.

Verwandelt den Kamado Joe in einen ganz passablen Pizzaofen. Etwas teuer für das, was man bekommt, aber es gibt keine wirkliche Alternative (außer man kauft sich einen Pizzaofen).
