Back Oblaten (Round Wafer 50 Mm / 100 Ct) - 3oz (Pack of 3)

These are very pricey, but hard to come by in the US. I am originally from Germany and use these for coconut macaroons year round for my candy business. This is the brand I know from Germany and have always used. The wafers are a nice thickness, not too flimsy, but still delicate. They have a very subtle almost non existent flavor, so they will not change the flavor of your baked goods, but they will immensely enhance them in my opinion.

This stuff is amazing and no cookies sticking to the cookie sheet. And it's fun for the kids because they like to eat it.

We use these to make traditional German cookies. They were smaller than our recipe called for, but the cookies turned out great!

Really like the way the item was packed with care. Felt the price of the oblaten was fair.

I was hooked on those growing up in Germany. Still am many years later. Weird, I know. But they taste good to me.

After I had Lebkuchen from Germany I’m obsessed, but they are not cheap. I checked on YouTube for the recipe and successfully made wonderful cookies, only better the store bought because freshly baked oblaten is still soft and not paper-like. 5cm ones looked like minis, but if you mount your dough high they are perfect size!!

Hard for the cookie to stay centered on the wafer.

I use them yearly for baking, without which I could not bake the old European recipes inherited through 3 generations. Hard to find in local area, 3 pack is incredible, delivered quickly and just in time, enough to have an extra box for next Christmas
