I had this product on 5 stars because it was just "perfect", but ran into a few issues. My issues were with LG devices not charging properly, and while looking for support I ran into some issues. It seems that Bototek support is working again and they replaced the faulty unit.

A lot of times in the past, USB ports that weren’t specifically wall adapters wouldn’t work to charge my iPhone, so I was relieved when the ports worked fine here.I also appreciate that one outlet is father than the others to leave room for bulkier plugs (like those for an a/c or WiFi extenders).It seems high quality and I’ve had it for about two months now without any issue.

Nice and smart layout of ports and outlets. I operate from home and for all my electronics I used two power strips. Many of them have been able to use the usb plugs that this power strip has enabled to need only one. It was packaged well and the cord is long. I plan to buy another one and I strongly suggest this high-quality item.

For years, my living room has had a dirty old power strip with loose ports, making it easy for plugs to slip out. Lately, I’ve gotten tired of constantly looking at it and having to reinsert plugs, particularly as I’ve been staying home all the time due to the novel coronavirus restrictions. I’ve been spending way more hours in the living room for meetings, screenings, live streams, meditation, yoga, dance, etc.In the past few months, I’ve upgraded to a new HP Chromebook and a new Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. As the lockdown continued, I ordered several speakers and headphones/earbuds. I reckoned I should get a surge protector to protect my investment.Unlike my flimsy, dirty old power strip, my new, black Bototek surge protector is stylishly designed with round curves. It appears to be robust and well-built. Its six-foot power cord comes in handy when I need to stretch the length, i.e., for a vacuum cleaner.I chose this model because it has four USB-A and four AC power outlets. One AC outlet is set apart with extra room to allow for a big plug. At times, it’d be nice to have more power outlets, but I knew what I was getting into.The only other thing I wish was different is that the USB-A ports don’t support fast charging, say for my Samsung Galaxy S8. That’s okay: I get around that by using my wireless charger’s fast charging or my charging station’s PD port.The power strip can power/charge 8 devices at once! For example...USB-A 1: Samsung Galaxy S8USB-A 2: Bugani boombox speakersUSB-A 3: EarbudsUSB-A 4: iPhoneAC 1: Wireless charger, which has a big plug that fits into the wide-spaced outletAC 2: Toshiba ChromebookAC 3: LampAC 4: Bototek charging station (black, matching the surge protector)Because the charging station has four ports and the wireless charger can hold two devices, my configuration can technically charge 14 devices!Actually, it’s potentially even 17 with the five available USB ports on the Toshiba Chromebook, the Bugani boombox, and the HP Chromebook plugged into the charging station. But let’s not get carried away now...

finally~~found this which is most functional design ..many older designs would have the grounding and double prong inserted in the vertical positions...and does not allow for more plugs to be inserted..simply blocking adjacent plugs...really does not benefit having many plugs when it is too close to another....this works perfectly since the grounding and double prongs is now perpendicular to the fixture....and allows one to use it with space between. each plugs...then there are a few usb connection that is available...ver PRACTICAL AND GOOD DESIGN!!! MOST DESIGNS HAS A MOUNTING HOLE IN THE BACK OF IT...BUT THIS ONE DOES NOT. I FOUND THE MOST STRONGEST HEAVY DUTY 10 LB VELCRO TO MOUNT IT ON TO THE WALL VERTICALLY ..I AM NOT CONFIDENT THAT YOU CAN MOUNT IT UNDER TABLE HORIZONTALLY BECAUSE VELCRO IS NOT ALWAYS DEPENDABLE...GLUES AND PLASTICS SEEM TO NOT HOLD...WITH THE MICROWAVE ENERGIES THAT WE ARE HAVING..OR OZONES WHICH WEAKENS ALL BINDING CHEMICALS....

The USB entire charging panel connecting all the USB ports became physically disconnected which made it impossible to connect any charging cables. This made the device largely worthless since I purchased the item for the multiple USB charging ports and not the AC outlets. I contacted the seller and as asked I sent them the video then I patiently waited for a response...I heard nothing. I see the product is not longer available and I am not surprised. Remember and avoid the manufacturer name Bototek - they don't stand by their products.

Even after purchasing 3 of these, I still find I am carting one outside to listen to the ball game while I do computer work, or need phone or iPad recharge.Working from home office does have great advantage, yet, still need alternate room electronic support when tired of sitting at desk to do it all. Certainly not enough regular outlet availability these days, with required surge protection.Sure needed when traveling out is state to visit parents. Working from portable home office, once again has its perks (but also a whole house full of pre-occupying list of needs to complete when popping out to get more coffee, a convenient bite to eat, or just using own bathroom. Ugh! So, those are the not so goods when working from home. 😬Still, this product has made GREAT convenience and trustworthiness.
