GREAT PEN - SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS TO MAKE IT BETTER
First, I love this pen! I also own a Lamy Safari Charcoal Rollerball Pen - Charcoal - Model 317 - which I also love. But the Pico is perfect for several uses. I keep it in the console of my car. When I buy something in a drive through and need to sign a credit card receipt it is far better then the garbage pens they try to send out through the drive in window. When I need a quick pen to open and close with one hand to write down a number (not in traffic and with a hands-free phone though I know this is still not a good idea... better to pull over) the Pico is perfect. Then, there are the numerous occasions when I run out of the office and forget my normal pen (Lamy 317) and I grab the Pico.I love the chrome though as the reviewer says it will be slippery if you are planning extended writing. I don't think anyone plans to use the Pico for extended writing though it certainly would be up to the task. The chrome looks and feels very solid and sturdy. That James Bond look as someone said.I immediately ordered the medium blue refills. The included refill with mine was a fine point which is too fine for my taste. I also ordered the leather case though that was primarily to keep from losing the pen. Finally, I believe they would sell more of the chrome Pico pens if they would correct the description of the product. It reads "Lamy M22 Ballpoint Refill" when in fact that description is for purchase of the actual pen not the "refill." I had to read the description several times to make sure I wasn't purchasing a bunch of refills rather than the pen. I was still a little nervous.I've had mine for about a month now and have used it quite a bit. Though it does have an intricate mechanism for opening - and therefore I am fairly gentle when opening and closing it as all such products will wear out eventually - mine shows no signs of wear and I'm hoping it will give me a long life. I saw one review complaining about their pen breaking outside the "short return window of 30 days." I don't know where they got that. I went to the company website and it shows all their pens have a lifetime warranty. They just charge a flat fee of $9.50 for return postage and handling. I can live with that if I need it.

Love this pen but the chrome will slowly wear off with use
I have owned this chrome model and had to order a second time due too scratches and wearing down of the chrome finish. Bought the black versioni and it seems to hold up much better. The pen itself is great both with grip, writing comfort and just overall ease of use.

Wrong one, bit it worked
I was expecting a longer pen size, it’s small, but at the end is very convinient. I do recommend it .

Great pocket pen
This is my 4th Pico. Why 4th? Lost the first one (quite easy to lose), a lot scratches and color scratched off on the second, third fell from the stairs and did not land great that the body was dinged in, thus cannot protract and retract, and is unusable. It's a pretty light pen and I still bought another as it is great to have in my pocket instead of searching for a pen, or having a regular pen that will stick out or poke me.Also great that people comment about it when I use it, not expecting something that doesn't look like a pen suddenly extends its form and turns into one.Handy pen in my opinion.

Exact Replacement for Aston Martin
As a pen guy, I was excited when I first sat down in my lightly used Aston to check out the infamous Lamy pen. I eject the pen and to my horror, half a pen came out. The other half was stuck in the dash. I was able to get the other half out (after buying the car, of course, and many smiles per gallon later), but in doing so, I destroyed the tip of the pen. So I did my research, and aha! The Pico is $40, the Aston Martin Pico is $110+. So I bought this one, took the Aston-Branded piece off the old pen (which wasn't broken or damaged), put the tip from this pen on the Aston-Branded barrel, and viola, I have my precious $135K pen holder back in one piece. It's a glorious day.All that to say, solid little pen, works well and looks great. Doesn't have the weight of a Waterman or Montblanc, it's extremely light, but for my purposes as the owner of a very expensive pen holder that happens to roll on four wheels, it works just fine.
