Easy to install! Better than some of the others! Quality seems to be really good.

I am currently in the process of restoring a Haro BMX bike and needed a affordable yet high quality chain for it. I have used KMC chains in the past and have always had good luck with them so I decided to give this a shot.In order to install this chain you will need a chain breaker. It does come with a masterlink but you will still have to shorten the chain to the proper size for your bike. I recommend getting a high quality chain tools such as the ones available from Park Tool as inexpensive ones sometimes are even capable of breaking a high quality chain like this one. Once you have the chain cut to size it is very easy to install it with the masterlink. It also comes with directions so even if you haven't done this before you can do it no problem. I've been riding multiple bikes with this chain for months and have never had any issues whatsoever with them. As long as you keep them lubricated they are very quiet and they are as strong as it gets.Overall for the price you really can't beat this chain. It is easy to install and super strong. I would highly recommend it!

This is one of the few reviews not for a bike. I've owned a Fiskars Staysharp Max Reel Mower, 18-Inch for about 5 years now. The past few mowings, the drive chain kept jumping the sprockets from what I noted was due to a partially broken link. Did a bit of research and found this 410 chain fits perfectly. Ordered the cheapest version of this chain and the suggested chain breaker Oumers Universal Bike Chain Tool With Chain Hook, about $20 total. I believe a breaker can be gotten at walmart cheaper, so check there first if you have the time. Look up how to use the breaker as there are plenty of tutorials. This chain is long enough to make two lengths of drive chain, plus a couple extra links. You'll be set for some time.

These days it's like the "discount chain" with so many options out there but KMC has proven themselves for a very long time now. I bought it for a resto bmx that honestly won't see any hard riding but I'll be buying the same chain for a street bike and a trail bike I'm building that will see hard riding and I have no concerns with it holding up.

I purchased this a while back when I was still fixing bike. At the time I was building a bike, taking parts here and there to build my own bike. This chain was great. The chain that I had before I bought this one was quiet loose and kept falling out of place. I did some research and read some reviews and decided to purchase this. This lasted a for a long time to the point where I sold my bike to a little girl and her father. They were pretty please with the bike that I put together at the moment. I would recommend this chain and purchase it again in the future if I need to.

So far so good... Had to remove a couple of links using a chain tool to fit. Directions were okay... What they didn't show was that to get the snap plate on at all, you had to do the twisting motion.First one I ordered came without the snap plates; there was a hole in the packaging and it fell out. Very odd. Amazon returns sent one out next day, so not a big deal.

The chain seemed great and the links were the right size, but it was about eight inches too short for my normal-sized one-speed cruiser bike. I don't know a whole lot about bike mechanisms, but the chain should be long enough to go around the gears! This is probably intended for childrens' bikes only. Very disappointing.

Followed specs for the factory KMC chain that came on my wifes Elektra cruiser but this chain was almost half a foot to short.Still don't know if this was an error on my part, bad spec description or chain itself but luckily i had a length of chain to extend this one and solved the issue myself.Been a few months and so far so good!
