Here’s the deal. I have to take 2. But it WORKS. The only problem I ran into was really heavy crashes in the early afternoon. Combating those is where I am now. But for the wake up bit, they work. I wake up with muscle and joint pain everyday and the time release caffeine helps me get going and stay on time to take my morning pain medicine. I take it before bed and can feel it working about 6 hours later. Some mornings I can even wake up a little earlier because it helps me break through the pain. It amazing how well caffeine impacts pain management when used in moderation. I only take 1 and feel that 2 would be way too much for me. Make sure you take it before bed and try to get to sleep asap. (I also use "Energy Boost" from the Swanson brand in the morning. It has a delayed release of 45min and lasts for about 3 hrs.) After a few months of searching, the Am Up and Go is the only caffeine product that offers me the proper time release and dosage of caffeine . Also no niacin which I don't like to use. I'm on my 3rd bottle and hope to stock up when its back in stock.
