UniorChain Tool - 1647HOBBY/4P

Operator error broke one of the guide plates.
This is a rather small tool. If you have large hands it could feel more like a tedious toy than a tool.I have a nice Park tool chain breaker but I purchased this one to be kept in a separate location and as a backup to the Park.On my 4th or 5th use of this tool I failed to lay the chain into the guide plates properly and once I began applying force I snapped one of the guide plates off. This is my mistake so it’s operator error. The tool still works and one of the guide plates is still present to help center the drive pin on the chain pin. I will continue to use this tool as needed but I have resorted back to the more robust Park tool which is about twice as large. If you want a lighter weight tool for less money this tool may be a good candidate. Be more careful than I was when placing the chain in the tool.
