I think, like with most thing, headphones are a matter of preference. I personally like the AKG sound, and have a few different models. I have the N40s, N90Qs and these, and I think they are all brilliant. The N40s if driver with a good DAC the sound is lovely. The N5005s are incredible, but if your budget does not stretch to these then the N40s are a great compromise.The packaging is nice, it comes with loads of different cables etc, I don't know how much you'd use the bluetooth cable as the sound quality changes significantly, still good but for the sake of having a cable you will get much more out of them, and if your spending this sort of money, you probably want the best.The sound is brilliant, the bass is fast and I personally think a deep as you need. I listen to a lot of drum and bass and these please my ears! The midrange is better on these than the N40s, vocals come through like the person is singing to you. The Highs are crisp and don't ever become harsh, which they can do on the N40s.The build quality: So I had an issue with the left ear, the dynamic driver blew, I contacted AKG and they replaced both earbuds and all the cables, great customer service!
