Kickoff! (Barber Game Time Books)

9 year old grandson loved this book

The young man to whom I gave the book really liked it a lot. Unfortunately, I did not read it entirely myself, which I intend to do if I can wrestle it back from him....or to the other young man to whom he lent it. This is a topic that he loves, and it isn't easy to find such topics for him. Would like to find more such books at this reading level.

My grandson is not really a child who enjoys reading, however, after seeing Tiki Barber and his brothers interview on the Today show I immediately purchsed this book. Now I am not going to tell you he now reads everything but it did spark an interest, he completed the book and has asked for other's in the series. The challenge here was finding something which caught his interest, as with any child, find something they like and they'll ask for more.

My son enjoyed this. As a football player he could really relate to the characters eventhough they are older in this book. It taught good lessons about teamwork, friends, and courage.

My son hated reading. It was such a task to get him to read even with all the popular books among 3rd graders. He loves football so I tried these books and he has gone through 5 in the series so far.

My son likes football and enjoys this story

I am not a big football fan and I don't know a lot about football but this book was good it is about two twins that have each other and they are not in the same classes but they are in the same football team though there are also some troubles on the way.

My kindergarten grandson loved this book and was excited to tell me about it!
