I was searching for a safe letter opener, as I have the tendency to accidentally cut myself when using sharp objects. From what I can tell, these are very safe letter openers, and I like the colors! They are very easy for me to hold, though I have pretty small hands so that may not be true for everyone.However, they aren't the easiest to use. It took me a while to figure out how to use them at all without just tearing up the envelopes. And once I figured that out, I still had a hard time cutting the entire length of the envelope; I still struggled not to tear the end. I can use them pretty well now that I've had some practice, but it took a while!Overall, these are fine. I honestly do not feel very strongly about them one way or the other. They are a good choice for a small, safe letter opener and I would recommend them if that is what you're looking for.

I bought this pack for me and my office mate. We have had them for some time and they have held up well. My only warning is to make sure the latter is not at the top of the envelope as it will cut the letter as well.

I bought these for my parents. These are so great for cleanly opening the mail. The price was amazing and they arrived quickly.

These letter openers are the first I've bought, though I've used this design of opener many times. All the others I used were gifted to me by sales promotions, as they lend themselves well to having a logo, ad or product name on the handle. These are plain, no writing at all. They don't seem especially better or sharper than the free ones; maybe the blade part is a little longer? At any rate, they just work. I needed to replace the old, dull 'free' one I've been using for a long time; it was tearing and not cutting half the time. These are fine; nothing extraordinary. Maybe slightly easier to hold because the handle is slightly bigger. The colors are nice. Longevity is unknown, I've only had them a short while and it takes time for them to get dull. So far, so good. If they seem to wear too fast, I'll add an addendum.

Not only does this slim letter opener fit perfectly but cuts like a hot knife into butter. Great job. Great value. I’m keeping 1 and giving the other 2 to family.

Not great for cutting rubber bands on poodle hair…. Sure it works great for its true purpose

Unfortunately not sharp enough as I was told to use this product to remove knots in dog's hair
