Classic Cat Tree B3803

This came so close to being my cat's ideal tree. She prefers to lounge on open levels instead of in cubby holes, and she prefers to scratch carpeted posts over sisal, wood or cardboard. In the picture, you can see that the sisal posts are at the front of the tree and the fleece ones are in the back, but since this is a tree you construct yourself, I was easily able to bring the fleece covered posts to the front to suit my cat's preferences. I was a little worried because of how soft the fleece material is compared to the carpeted scratching posts that my cat is used to, but she took to scratching it right away! The taller posts are the perfect height for her to stretch as she scratches.My cat also enjoys hanging out at the very bottom of the tree--the positioning of the poles help her feel concealed without feeling claustrophobic. The top three levels were a bit of a disappointment, however. Each open layer is about 1 square foot, and the width of the cubby part is only six inches. The combined length would be the perfect size for my cat to stretch out on, but since there's a sizable ridge separating the cubby from the open area, all she can do is curl up on the open part without touching the cubbies at all. Each level is a single slab of wood, so I really don't know why they cut off the length of each level like that.Other than the ridges on each level, I'm perfectly happy with this tree. It was easy to put together, and since each level is supported by two poles, it doesn't wobble. It also has two places to hang cat toys, and my cat has loved playing with the ones that came stock. Overall, I feel good about this purchase.

This has been a great cat tree. I've had it for a year and it's been used mostly by two cats, sometimes by three. I needed one that didn't have too much climbing involved because our one cat doesn't have back feet and I wanted it to be easy for him. It's placed at the end of my bed so the cats run off the end of my bed straight onto the cat tree. The three 'caves' are not all that big, but big enough for small to medium sized cats. They love the ropes to claw on and they've loosened a couple of them. I cut one off because I didn't know how to re-attach it so it wouldn't come back off, and left the other one hanging so they could play with it. The hanging ball was great at first and quite a hit, but didn't hang for long before it was pulled off. The platforms look longer in the picture than I think they really are. They are sufficient though, but probably not if you have a large cat. The tree itself is a tad bit wobbly, but it's lasted a year and shows no signs of falling apart. It's not wobbly enough that the cats feel uncomfortable. It does attract cat hair like crazy and takes a while to vacuum it off. The price was great in comparison to others that I looked at before buying. It was a really good purchase.

This is my second cat condo from this company. I bought one a year ago and it still looks new despite daily battering from three cats so I was secure about buying another product and this is perfect for all three cats. One cat is 18 mo., one is 8 yrs. and the third is 10 yrs. old. The steps make it easy for the oldest and the youngest (who is part monkey I think) has been shooting in and out the tunnels. I noticed the ridge in the tunnel does not stop the cats from stretching out completely. I bought this one for our sunporch but I think it would be a perfect size for someone who lives in an apartment as the base takes very little room. I mixed up the poles so they can choose the carpet or the sisal and I have seen them scratch both. My older condo is scratched daily and nothing has fallen apart or looks worn and the new one is made of the same material. I don't understand why someone complained about the color because it is a very nice sky blue. This condo is very sturdy and was simple to put together. I do not use the toys because one of my cats got the elastic wrapped around his tail on the old condo. Better to snip the elastic and just give them the loose toys. I am very happy with the price because the retail stores charge hundreds of dollars for their condos.

It was as listed for large cats not really big enough for my large cats.But is ok for now.

I got this for the older cats who like to stay in my bedroom. It was very easy to put together. It is a bit small for cats that weigh over 14lbs. My cat Kitty weighs 18lbs and still loves it though. The only issue I have had with it is the dome on the bottom perch collapses very easily. My cat Black Jack used it as a step and it caved in. The other two domes are much sturdier though so I wonder if it is just a design flaw. I would buy it again though since they don't really use the bottom dome as a step. I put cat beds on the bottom for extra places for them to sleep. The sisal posts have been durable so far. I have had it since christmas and so far so good with four cats in the room and many other cats visiting. Would recommend.

This is really sturdy. I have a medium sized cat that runs up and down on this daily and loves scratching on it. It has stopped him from scratching at the carpet and other things in the house. The blue domed sections are very small, only a kitten can really fit in there (although our cat has tried) and there is a lip between the domed sections and the flat step parts that makes it uncomfortable for cats to lay as pictured. Still our cat has gotten a lot of use out of this. It can also be altered in its orientation. You could set it up to have the tall piece in the middle if you prefer. We did that for awhile and then put it back into the tiered step orientation to help the cat get up to a tall shelf. Assembly is easy.

The cat tree b3803 with the three platforms and huts was very easy to assemble and my cats like it. A slight wobblyness to it though. However it did not meet my needs. I have two 15 lbs Siamese and one 7 lb shorthair adult cats and none of them could curl up in the huts, way too small, even for the 7 lb cat which was surprising to me. They can lay on the platforms but can't stretch out on them. It is an alright cat tree, kittens would have a blast with it. For me, I am not great about measurements before buying and I thought this would be taller and big enough for my larger cats, it didn't meet my needs.

This was easy to put together but poor quality. The carpet has been destroyed in a week of scratching, the pirches were only big enough for a kitten to get into and the peices were perm bent...I would not buy this product again.

Adorable cat tree. Have had good use everyday with my kittens and cats. Well made, good looking cat tree.

Nice product, but 2 small 4 my kitty. Think ill be sending it back. Shud put on the ad that its more 4 kittens and small cats
