THE TIFFIN KEEPS FOOD HOT FOR A LONG TIME IF YOU PACK IT IMMEDIETELY AFTER COOKED AT ITS HIGH TEMRATURE.IT IS STILL GOOD TO USE AFTER 7 YEARS.ORDEREED THIS NEW ONE FOR MY UNCLE WHO WANTED HOT HOMEMADE FOOD FOR LAUNCHA AND HIS CURRENT MILTON WAS NOT SERVING HIM VERY WELL.HE TOO IS VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT.JUST GO WITH IT.
