McKlein Walton 17' Nylon Expandable Double Compartment Laptop Briefcase w/Removable Sleeve

I bought this bag for an overseas trip. The bag came with a zipper that did not work. On a different slide fastener, one zipper does not work at all. Fortunately, all zipper compartments come with a set of two zippers, but for the price, I wish all worked. With the exception of the zippers, the bag seems durable and workable. Because of the two broken zippers, I have to give it 3 stars.

Have been looking for a replacement computer/briefcase for a while now. Based on what I saw online I thought this was the bag that would do the trick. Once out of the box I liked what I saw. The quality is good. The pockets are roomy and well organized. The overall design is nice. This was all encouraging. But I travel a lot for work, lots of transit through airports, etc. So the Smart Zipper Attachment feature was really imporant to me. This feature allows you to slip the case over the handle of a rolling suitcase so you the briefcase piggybacks and you don't have to carry the briefcase. Unfortunately, the pass-through part of this feature is too small. I have a typical rolling suitcase and the handle would not pass through easily. It was a struggle. And I don't want to have to struggle with my case every time I travel, everytime I get on or off a plane, on or off a shuttlebus. So for me this doomed this bag. Disappointing since the quality and design of the bag looked good initially. If this feature isn't important to you then give this bag serious consideration.

The paradox with laptop bags is that you want a bag that holds everything that doesn't weigh you down. While not perfect, this is close.The good: The construction is top notch. Nothing's going to get through this. The material protects the bag while not adding unneccesary weight. It is a solid bag and will withstand pretty much anything I can put it through.The bad: The bag is a little builky, hence the four stars. The design leaves a little to be desired. Shoppers looking for something stylish may want to look elsewhere. It's not a messenger bag- you won't be throwing this over your shoulder while you bike to work.Bottom line: The bag is a little bulky, otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars. It suits my purposes.

Great quality, light weight, and good protection for your laptop. I have a laptop computer with a 17.3" display and this case give it the protection it needs. It also has a very handy feature for travelers, a rigid through-panel (open top and bottom) so that you can slide this case securely to the extended handle of your roll-behind suitcase. The only thing I don't like about this unit is there is no dedicated pocket for the computer's power supply and electrical cords, so I have to cram them up front with in the section for business cards, pens, etc. Other than that I am am perfectly happy with this case.

Highly recommend. I bought this for a week-long business trip. It was perfect for the trip, particularly the organization options and the expandable option, and it's so well-organized that I've been carrying it every day since I returned even though I don't need all the space. I prefer nylon to leather at this price point out of fear that a leather case selling for $130 can't be very high quality leather; also, nylon slides more easily into overhead compartments and under airplane seats. Fit easily over the handles of my rolling bag, and fit well under the seat on the plane. I used my own laptop sleeve (13" laptop) because the one that came with the bag was too enormous. I like the adjustable, padded strap. It's a huge bag, but not so enormous that it's unwieldy. I chose it over comparable, slightly smaller options because I wanted the extra space if I need it, and I'm not sorry.

This was a 5-star bag for 4 years. It stands up on its own, which is important for me. After 4 years the nylon zipper on the front compartment won't stay closed anymore - like nylon zippers can do. This is the zipper that runs around the corners of the front compartment so that keeps flopping open now. It's been treated roughly though and otherwise there's not a complaint. Would have lasted another 10 years. I'll probably buy another one to replace it.

This is a great satchel for business travel by car or plane. The extra compartments keeps items separated and easier to locate. The back flap fits over the suitcase handle makes it accommodating for moving around the airport and to/fro hotels etc. The only negative when unzipped it tends to fall over. Otherwise would purchase it again.

Large functional bag. I travel for a living (15+ days a month) and it has held up the first few months and looks like new. I like the pocket setup and ability to expand it. I would recommend it to friends.Update - I've been using my bag for 10 years+ regularly traveling 15+ days a month.I have lost 2 zipper pulls. Aside from that, the bag looks amazing and work as good as the day I purchased it. This is a quality product that will last for years. I highly recommend it!!!
