Pleasantly surprised to see it arrive two days later. I fricken love this pan!!! I cook for forty on Fridays. This 20QT fits nice on a commercial six burner stove.( see pic). Pan is good and thick, and disperses heat fairly even all around. Depending on your purpose you can cook a nice dish without burning or you can seer / braze with it. Can get extremely hot fast on gas heat. Can fry up 5lbs of home fries fairly quick, and can also cook 15 pounds of ground beef with room to spare. Lid fits nice and tight. Cleans up easily. By far my new favorite pan. Real fun to cook with. Advise seasoning first by rubbing oil inside and cook till starting to smoke.

I bought this braiser with doubts in my mind, as I usually prefer to purchase pots & pans from a brick & mortar store, where one can assess the quality. However I bought this, based on the other reviews. And I am glad to report that this was a good decision. The braiser has a thick base so no worries with any burning or overcooking.If you are looking for a good quality braiser/port at a good price point, you have found it.

The pot itself is very beautiful at 1st glance. The lid came intended. The lid is very very light as compared to the actual pot making it very easy to intend. The pot is too wide thus giving it a shallow depth.

I was looking for a mid size alumunum pot and this 8 qt. Braiser was just what i was looking for.This pot is made with a good thickness of aluminum and heats evenly for searing.The lid is a good fit.The interior is well pollished and easy to clean up. The handles are of heavy aluminum and held on with large heavy rivets.I would reccomend this pot for it's quality and size.

Pot itself is really good and very good thick metal. But the lid is made out of very cheap thin metal.

This is a great product - period! In fact, I purchased a 15 quart because the 40 quart did not fit in my oven. The but in my headline is the return of the 40 quart pot! I just found out they charged a $74.06 Restocking Fee Refund Deduction! I was aware of having to pay for return shipping but they did not make me aware in the return approval of the massive restocking fee! A very unhappy customer indeed!

So I haven't used my 12 quart pan yet. I have only had it about two weeks, but I purchased it based on a previous purchase from this brand. My previous purchase was the 8 quart braiser and I love it. I cook large quantities of beans, dirty rice, stovetop paella, braised cabbage, gumbo,collard and other greens and it cooks heavenly. I have also fried fish and fries in it and wanted a bigger pot so that I can have two pots for fish frys and use for fixing even larger sides and mains.

I was looking for a pot that was a thick metal. This was great & had a great description. I have not used the product yet. when you have a quality made product you have nothing to worry about. This will be used a lot at my house. I always take food to church & needed something big & thick that would last.
