This product is not working

These are great little usb converters, they are well made, good quality and work perfect with my apple phones. iPad and watch cables. I wanted these for a USA PLUG with 4 usb ports for when I go on holiday and the size compliments the plug perfectly.

I used these with a USB-C cable to connect my two Raspberry Pi 5s to a 5.1V DC 5A power supply that had a USB A output, and that power supply is a special case, being fed from a 12V DC source. I was a bit apprehensive to start with, as the cords are smart cords with circuitry in the connector and I wasn't sure how the USB A to USB C adaptor would go as a part of the set-up. But, having told the Raspberry Pi that it can get maximum power from the cable (you put the line, "usb_max_current_enable=1" in /boot/firmware/config.txt), everything worked fine - no errors and no more under voltage warnings. I am very happy with them and, as I only needed two, I have a couple to spare, which will not go astray as I have a few USB A outlets around the house; many higher power USB cables only come as USB-C to USB-C these days so these are handy.
