Carson BinoArmor Protective Binocular Wrap Case

I bought two. When I upgraded to 10x binoculars I found that they did not fit well. But on the 8x pairs they work well, fold out of the way when looking, fold over the lenses when walking...a good product.

I tried this on Zeiss Conquest 8x42, and Leica Trinovid 10x42. It was just a wee bit small for those binoculars. I could get it to just reach, but not overlap well enough for the magnet to hold it on with any handling.I loved the "not yet another black case" hunter green, and I really appreciated the silent magnetic closure.Unfortunately, I still had to return it. Sigh

The elastic band stretched out and does not hold the cover in place with just a couple days of use. The magnets are not strong enough to keep the flaps closed. I do not recommend purchasing this item.

Being an avid bird watcher, I am always looking for new ways to refine my hobby. Carson's BinoArmor saves me a tremendous amount of time when I am out in the field. I no longer have to bother with taking the time to take off my lens caps on my binoculars. The magnetic flaps give me very quick access to viewing birds while at the same time keeping my lenses safe from any dust, scratching and debris. The magnets are also terrific as they are very quiet and do not scare off the birds. Having a pair of 8x42mm binoculars, fitting them into the BinoArmor wrap was not an issue at all. I would highly recommend to this product to anyone looking for a new and innovative way to protect their binoculars.

First, I will say that the delivery was extremely fast! However, the product is not as advertised on the Carson Optics manufacturer's website. The informational video states that the cover flap is secured, using 3 strong magnets. The product I received contains only a single (and not very strong) magnet. As a result the cover flap barely secures hold to the body of the cover. The fit, materials and craftsmanship seem to be of pretty high quality, but the functionality is not what what was advertised.

Bought these even though I knew they would slightly small for the 50mm series Bushnells I intend to use them on. These are made for 42mm lens so they don't completely protect the larger lens, but they will provide adequate protect for light use because they cover more than 75% of the lens.The fabric is some sort on neoprene and appears to be durable enough to withstand the use that I'll give these to set up my telescope and occasional range use. I'd recommend a different product and/or using the original lens covers if you expect your binoculars to be exposed to more rigorus conditions outdoors.

Really nice wrap (not a case), and a very good concept. Will fit most 8x25, 10x25, 8x32, 10x32, but 8x42 or similar will NOT fit. I have the Celestron Nature DX 8x42, which are really small for an 8x42, and they don't quite fit. The flap will just barely close, but will pop open from the pull of the binocular neck strap. 8x32 or smaller, you'll love it! If you want more protection, Carson also makes another version (larger) that covers the sides as well... that version will fit up to 6" tall binoculars.Hope this helps!
