I have worked over 10 years in corporate America as a sales consultant but am very much thinking of changing gears into the hotel industry (management of) and bought this book to learn more first before pursuing. Great book so far. Teaches many basics and fundamentals of the industry and gives me a feel for what I need to learn and might learn if I go back to school to get my MBA in Hospitality. Very Informative, college -like book on the industry.
I am still reading this book but it is a great 'starter' to get to know/understand the ins and outs of the hotel industry.
