The ADD-A-Circuit ATR MICRO2 Fuse-TAP is a dual circuit adapter designed for automotive use, allowing you to easily add new circuits while protecting existing ones. It includes a set of five fuses (5A, 7.5A, 10A, 15A, 20A) and features a 16-gauge red wire lead for straightforward installation.

This add-a-circuit was very easy to install
Just finished discretely installing an Escort Passport 9500ix radar detector in a 2015 Grand Cherokee that utilizes the newer Micro2 fuses. This add-a-circuit was very easy to install. One thing that I would suggest to the manufacturer is to provide some documentation explaining which slot is the pass through and which is for the added device. The slot closest to the feed wire is the pass through and is where you want to insert the fuse that you removed in order to plug in this device. Not sure why so many people complain about how hard it is to install and remove the the Micro2 fuses as most vehicles include a small plastic tool (probably located in the fuse box area) that makes the removal effortless.

Worked great on my 2018 raptor when others were to big to fit in

This fit my 2015 Kia Soul perfectly
I wanted to add some lights and was confounded when I discovered that the fuses were not any of the typical sizes. Auto parts stores had no idea what I was talking about. Thank goodness for the internet. Also Kia does not even put contacts in the unused fuse spaces. Must save a whole 3 cents per car. The fit of the fuses into this device are incredibly tight. I hope I never have to replace one. Other than that I have no complaints.

Item worked perfectly as advertised. Only (minor) reasons for not giving it 5 stars are:1. No instructions included, so without prior experience with similar devices and a multimeter to test it would have been difficult to use.2. Fuse slots were very tight. Extremely tight. Like, "i may need a bench vise or a press to get this in" tight.Would buy again, especially since this fuse size is still too new for brick-and-mortar shops to carry, apparently.

Better than the Bussmann
I have a 2017 f 150 and have 2 of these installed in the lower passenger fuse box with no modifications. These come with 5 fuses and are rated up to 20 amps where the Bussmann are only rated for 10 amps and do not come with fuses. The fuse block cover fits just fine with these installed. I have run these for 6 months now and have had no issues.

It did exactly what it was supposed to do, but needed some modification to fit my vehicle. I had to use a Dremel to shave down the sides of the case so that it would fit in the fuse compartment of my 2017 F150. This may not be an issue with other vehicles though.

Was a little tough to insert into the fuse box but once I got it in the slot it works quite well.

Existing fuse slot too tight
The new fuse slot accepts the Micro2 fuse correctly. The existing fuse slot is super tight requiring you to force the old fuse into place. This is a defective design, as I had the same problem on two of the same model.

The quality is great but the plastic casing is too big
The quality is great but the plastic casing is too big. I had to shave it down with a knife to get it to fit in my fuse box. I'm assuming the fuse size is standardized so the manufacturer should make sure this tap is the same size as the fuses.

Does not match Micro2 fuse shape
While claimed to be "Micro 2", this product IS NOT COMPATIBLE with Micro2 fuses. At least out of the box. I could not use it with F-150 fuse box and it took me a little while to figure out why. Looking carefully at the fuses and the tap, I have realized that the tap has these edges that do not match the shape of the actual Micro2 fuse. F-150 fuse panel is shaped exactly after the fuse itself. I used a small precision knife to remove these plastic edges (two on each side) and after that it did fit fine.I probably should have returned it but the chances were that another product would have the same issue. Plus, the choice of Micro2 taps is not that great in Canada.
