My HP mouse started malfunctioning, so purchased this Zebronics one assuming it to be a good buy under the impression that it is made by an Indian company. In the pictures it looks great and normal-sized, but the actual product delivered is small (as well as partly different). 1) It is much smaller compared to a standard mouse in all 3 dimensions of length, width and height, so NOT very comfortable to use. (see image showing side-by-side compare against the standard-sized HP mouse) 2) It is different from what is shown in the listing image on Amazon - the left and right buttons are different as they dont have the "mid-way split" in each button, as visible in the Amazon product images 3) The wire length of 1.2 mtrs. may appear sufficient at the first glance, but ends up pretty small in reality. I had to move my CPU to get this mouse connected. The standard HP/Dell mouse have a standard length of 1.8 mtrs. which is what is actually required (it was ignorance on my part while purchasing). 4) At times, the right click occurs on its own randomly, even when I dont press it. Possible alignment and configuration issue with the mouse. 5) The pack says "Imported and Marketed by Zebronics" indicating it is NOT an Indian make, possibly imported from China. Overall, OK-OK mouse for the price. Not sure about the long run service. My last Dell mouse purchased in 2005 worked for more than 12 years, the next HP mouse malfunctioned in 2 years, and this one seems to be "bhagwaan-bharose". Based on my experience across all these three brands, I'll recommend to spend some more money and go for Dell which is much more standard, ergonomic, right-sized, long-lasting and better functioning. Spend the money once, and spend it well on the right long-lasting reliable product. === Update after 16 days of use: This mouse is crap. After 10 days or so, it has started behaving completely erratic. Single clicking is now resulting in two-clicks or double clicking. Impossible to use in excel sheets and online forms. Replaced it with a new Dell mouse, which is working absolutely fine with all the same computer settings. To confirm, I again used this Zebronics mouse for a day to see if it is working normal, but same erratic behavior returned. Single left click is leading to two-clicks or double clicks, and right click is occurring on its own without I actually right-clicking. Rotating the wheel also results in random right-clicks frequently. Avoid this cheap and unreliable product and go for a better brand at a bit higher price.

Good

The wheel of the mouse got twisted and aligned not in straight line. It was not working initially but after repeated attempts of installation of driver software, it started to work. I think there are no human beings in Amazon. Could not contact and speak to any human beings. This is worst.

I have 2 laptops. but, the mouse pad stopped working on this one, the oldest, but my favourite. Everything I need was on this one. But it was rendered useless by the mousepad not working. After spending hours, trying to do make my CV and upload it on the other lappy, I decided to try and see if a separate mouse would make my old faithful work again. Ordered it Saturday evening, and it arrived Monday lunch time. And now Old Faithful works a dream. Just need to get into the habit of using the mouse again! The mouse itself is simple, basic and cheap, but it feels comfortable in use. I have been using it by resting the lappy on the arm of the chair, and the mouse on my lap, which is just comfortable for me. Works equally well on the chair.
