AutoPage RF-225A Two Channel Security System with On-Board 2 Stage Shock Sensor

I already had an Autopage alarm installed in my car that I bought used about a year ago, but I wanted to purchase some more remotes for it. The remotes by itself were about $20 each so I ended up just buying this alarm which came with two remotes for less than $35. I also used the valet switch as the one that was installed in my car was broken. So while I can't speak to this actual alarm, I can tell you that the remotes and the valet switch works perfectly and they are interchangeable to other Autopage products. Worth the money.

SO EASY TO INSTALL!! and does the functions its designated to do! if you need a simple alarm system that beeps screech and what not when someone tries to take your car... this will not disappoint you... just a reminder, its a basic alarm... its a deterrent... so dont expect the car thief to cry like a baby... but for what it does, it does it wonderfully... PRO: small profile approx. 2"x3" - means easy to hide door trigger hood trigger simple install two remotes CON: no siren - (its to be expected) wireless range is short P.S.>> this item is a BASIC ALARM so it has limited expansion - i.e. tilt sensor, window regulator, etc.

Had it professionally installed, but quit working properly after 3 week. I have an older model in another vehicle that work great. Maybe just got a bad unit. Disappointed with customer service.

I ordered this based on reviews to add keyless entry to a 1999 Mazda B3000 (Ford Ranger). Make sure if you order this for keyless entry you also order a keyless entry relay, I ordered the Install Essentials 451M Relay Module which was plug and play with this. The instructions are rather vague, however it was fairly easy to install with a wiring diagram obtained on the internet and a multimeter. EDIT: I had some trouble with false alarms with this unit, and contacting customer service did little to help. All the answers provided to me were purposefully vague on the part of the representative and any requests for more detailed info were met with "We only provide that information to professional installers." If you're looking for a basic keyless/alarm, especially for an older manual vehicle, and don't mind having to do all of the install footwork yourself, this is an acceptable choice.

Very easy to install. Alarm, has built-in shock sensor with adjustable settings. Keypad is very small and nice. Not bulky. Very happy customer :)

First and foremost this unit is excellent value for the money. It has a descent alarm and the Key-less entry works great.The locks on my Honda malfunctioned and wouldn't open the doors with the chip key. I already had power locks so I decided to install this key-less entry alarm instead of paying 5 times as much to fix the locks. Has worked great so far and you can enable and disable the features you want.. Would recommend..

This autopage basic alarm installed and works good. I actually wanted it more for the remote access door lock/unlock than the alarm. Transmitters are nice and small work great!

This is the second Autopage RF225 system I have installed within a year. Both went in with no complications. It realy helps to have the wiring schematics for the vehicle that you are installing it for to lessen the complications. I also incorporated a soft chirp siren and blue scanner LED with this install and my daughter really likes them.
