Blackstar HT-DIST Tube Distortion Pedal

Having plugged a cable out from the standard out it seemed wasted money but when plugged from emulated I saw a large difference I give it a four star because I've heard better from a device.

Have been trying to get a decent distortion sound out of my Marshall AVT150h half stack for ages. Had tried several pedals but none sound as natural as this. Perfect array of distortions, easy to operate, built like a tank. Fairly obviously, it sounds best once the valve is warmed up. Perhaps not distorted enough for hardcore/metal (for this check out the dist-x model) but perfect for blues, rock and alt-rock sounds. If stolen I'd replace in a heartbeat and considering the improvement to tone and build quality I think it's an absolute steal. One consideration is it doesn't take a conventional 9v power supply, but the 16v supply is included. Definitely recommended if you get a killer clean tone out of your amp but the amp's distortion is wanting. CRANK HER UP!

Change the tube for a mullard and this baby rocks . Tube quality count on these products , use a quality tube and this beats anything out there from rock to blues to jazz , this is the best there is and I’ve used them all. Highly recommended.

This product is great, but it is best to fit a better tube. The included one doesn't sound so great, but works.
