My favorite yogurt
I have purchased this 6 times. It really makes a very good tasting yogurt. It doesn’t go sour or overly tangy with a long culture time. Diabetic here and use a continuous glucose monitor. Longer cultured yogurt doesn’t increase blood sugar levels much at all. The culture is eating up the milk carbs to multiply. I can even add honey before I sterile the milk for flavor. let it culture longer and it tastes great without the sharp rise in glucose I get from any other honey flavored yogurt I can buy locally and the price is a fraction of the cost of buying the yogurt in the grocery stores. It’s also really easy to make yogurt with this.

Makes great yogurt
So easy to use with my Instant Pot. Makes the smoothest creamiest yogurt in the world! Helpful hint: I use an immersion blender to finish my product. This produces the most luscious texture of yogurt. I save about a half cup of the yogurt, as a fresh starter for my next batch. Now I can make an endless supply of health yogurt and it is so much cheaper too!

Good for Backup
I had hoped that I could use this product to save money, compared to the expense of buying an excellent yogurt at my local health food store,& using that as my starter. But it turns out that this is a more expensive alternative. Since I may not always be able to find a local high quality yogurt, I'll be keeping this as a good backup.

Superior starter!
This is great starter. I have been using it for a very long time. I don't leave reviews unless I really love something or really dislike something. The taste is delicious if you don't like really tart yogurt. I have never had it fail. I do add to my batches fairly often even though it will make yogurt from 2 tablespoons from the last batch. I tend to eat it all because I love it so much. It is by far the best tasting of all that I have tried, but that is just my favorite taste for yogurt, on the sweeter side. The process I do is the basic - heat milk to 185, let it cool to 110, add yogurt or this starter, put in the incubator 6 hours, then into the strainer overnight in the refrigerator and I have perfect Greek yogurt the next day. Every time!
