JETech Case for iPad 2 3 4 (2012/2011 Model), Not for iPad Air or iPad Air 2, Smart Cover with Auto Sleep/Wake (Black)

First, I want to address some of the negative reviews I've seen on this case.Several reviews have said this case doesn't fit the Ipad 2. I am using this case on my Ipad 2 as I write , and it fits perfectly! Now when I first tried putting the case on it wouldn't fit. One side would clip correctly but I couldn't get the opposite side to clip on the Ipad securely. And yes, my first thought was Oh crap it doesn't fit! But it does, its just that this case fits the Ipad like a second skin so it does take a dash of patience and you may have to try putting in one side first Versus the other to get the snaps in the correct place.Once you have the case on you will be impressed by how secure it is! This thing isn't budging an inch! I also really like how the case comes up high enough to prevent the Ipad's corners from dings and drops but it still leaves the "face" of the Ipad uncovered, which is exactly what I wantedSome other reviews complained about the case being cheaply made and that the corners are shredded or cracking off. That has not been my experience. Since I've had this case its been through HEAVY daily use! I am constantly shoving it in my bag / purse and also shove it into a very snug felt folio case. I use my Ipad all the time for work and for pleasure so this thing had definitely taken a beating from me, and the case is standing up to it all beautifully. There is no fraying on the corners, or anywhere else for that matter. The hard corners (on the plastic backing) are also completely intact with no cracks or wear of any kind.The case does exactly what it claims to do - The magnetic top puts the Ipad to sleep when I close it and wakes the Ipad up whenever I open it. And its done so every time, not just sporadically like some other cases. The inside material of the case is very soft so it will not scratch or dame your Ipad in any way, and it is very soft against the Ipad's screen as well.The color of the case is very pretty as well and true to the picture (I got light blue). It also feels very nice in your hands and adds no noticeable weight to the Ipad.Some people seem to be expecting miracles from this case. Obviously this case is not designed to handle 10 foot drops or a hammer to the front of it. This style of case is meant to be a step or two up from a screen protector, not an ultra rugged fireproof / waterproof /kid proof case. This case is meant for regular everyday use by adults who don't regularly take their device swimming or tree climbing. If your looking for a case that will protect your device from everything including water, dragon fire, and zombie apocalypses the n spend the money and buy an Otter box, Life proof, or military grade case. I fully believe this case will protect your device from the occasional fall, drop, and corner bang but lets be realistic people!About a week after I got the case the company emailed me just to see if I was happy with their product. I emailed them back and was shocked to get a response almost immediately from a real live human instead of a generic automated message. The person I talked to went above and beyond to ensure my 100% satisfaction. Getting such great customer service in the online shopping industry is practically unheard of, especially when its unsolicited. I can't say I've ever had an online seller contact me just to ensure I was satisfied (the actual seller, not just an automatically generated sales email).I highly, highly recommend this case. You get all the same benefit and quality as an Apple smart Cover at a much more affordable price. That coupled with their phenomenal customer service makes this a deal that is simply too good to pass up!Now I'm hoping they sell this case for Kindle Fire!Update 7/31/15- about ten days after writing this review the corner of the case cracked off! I spilled some coffee and wanted to ensure nothing got on my iPad so I took it out of the case and it cracked. I initiated an Amazon return and also emailed the seller the details of what happened along with a few pictures. The seller shipped a replacement chase that very day and also gave me a full refund. Amazon required that I send the broken case back, they gave me free ups shipping labels and I put it in a ups Dropbox the next day.I honestly can't say if the replacement case held up any better as I'd gotten rid of my iPad 2 ( the one it fit) and purchased the new iPad Air. I have an apple Smart Cover and smart case I alternate with on that ( found new on eBay for less than $20!). So I'm not changing the five star rating because the customer service is great and if you do have a problem with yours they will give you your money back AND send you a new one! What more can you ask for?

Got this as a replacement for the worn out case on my old iPad 2 and it works like a champ! Sure, it may not be quite as high in quality as the Apple smart case I have on my iPad 3 and 4, but for $9.99 vs around $50 how can I complain? The differences - harder shell, which is not bad at all and fits very well, a "smart" cover that appears to be similar to the Apple version, works the same way (in other words, neither offer many standing angles,) with a very slight difference in the way it is cut and perhaps a little looser in the "hinge area," yet still works well, and turns the iPad on and off just like the Apple case. If I ever replace the cover on my iPad 3 or 4 I would not hesitate to buy this one and save the money. Even if it doesn't last as long (yet to be determined - I think it will do pretty well,) I can buy 5 of these to one of Apple's!!!! Love the free market and competition!Update on September 5, 2014:Using this case heavily during the last month, including a two+ week to China, it's holding up well despite being tossed around and shoved into my backpack numerous times. It still looks and feels like new with no wear at all. One thing I have noticed is the smart-cover does not work as well as the Apple version. Just picking it up I often hear the click sound which tells me the iPad is turning off/on. Despite this shortcoming, I'm still happy with the case, especially considering the great price.

It looks great, and it fits my iPad

This iPad case is functional, solid, and attractive. For 1/4th of the price of an Apple's smart cover, this case offers protection to the front as well as back of the iPad. The design, I believe, is very similar to that of an Apple's smart case. So the fit to our iPad 3 is very good. I just snapped the case onto the iPad and the installation was that simple. All the buttons had a cutout at the right location and with the right amount of space. Rear camera, microphone, audio jack, speaker, and charging dock all had cutouts too.The front cover's "smart" action is good. Whenever the cover is opened, the iPad screen does light on. I am guessing that closing the cover turns off the screen too. Folding the front cover to use it as a stand for the iPad did not work very well initially. The cover just seemed too "stiff". But with use, it lost this "stiffness" and works much better as a stand. However, it does fare worse than the Apple smart cover in this department.The back case is soft to touch and not so smooth that it would slide off surfaces. I think it got the right amount of softness and smoothness. It does not seem to attract too many stains even when used on the dining table or kitchen countertops (of course, we are being careful). I haven't read the instructions about cleaning this case, but I use a lens cleaning wipe to clean the iPad screen and use the same wipe to wipe off the front and back of the case. That seems to work OK.Overall, I am very satisfied with this case, particularly for the price!Oh, we got a black case to go with our white iPad 3 and the combination looks really nice.

This case has all the features my original Apple case from 10 years ago had. Now I can extend the life of my very old iPad, which at this point I mainly use for Kindle and Nook.This design is visually cleaner than the Apple case, although I suspect its use of plastic may be less sustainable. The greater rigidity of the plastic holds the iPad better.
