Basic 3mm LEDs
I was hoping for them to be a bit brighter but they aren't bad. Pretty much what you would expect from 3mm LEDs. None of the ones I used so far were dead so I'm fairly happy with them.

Keep in mind that they are mini-LEDs
These LEDs work great for my students' Arduino projects. I bought this extra set to add to what already came in the Vilros kits (which have only red and yellow). I like the assortment of colors with these LEDs, and they all seemed to work without issues.Just realize that these are mini-LEDs....smaller than the ones that come standard in Arduino kits. If I thought about the measurement (3mm) I might have caught on, but I thought they were regular LEDs when I bought them. I would like to give the LEDs 4 stars for that reason- I feel like that should be clarified in the title- but the measurement IS there, so it's my fault for not knowing.Regardless, these will work with Arduino projects if that is what you plan to use them for.
