I was skeptical about purchasing this from Amazon as the Rode website states that they do not sell this product at all via Amazon. So you can imagine I was suspicious when this was advertised on Amazon UK as ‘dispatched and Sold by Amazon’. As soon as it arrived I was so happy with the purchase and here’s why: Pros: -it came factory sealed by Rode and factory QA tested -amazing mixing desk with so many capabilities -works out of the box with no hassle -free firmware updates available even now years after original release -aesthetically the design is beautiful, the colours the buttons. Everything about this mixer looks amazing and you can even change the colour of the sound pads via your Mac or Windows device. -As well as 4 XLR inputs, the mixer has the ability to record directly from a Bluetooth device which means you can have a live telephone guest in your show with no effort required -tons of on-board customisation and voice effects options. No computer required. Cons: -it was built mainly for XLR input so USB mics don’t work so good and also don’t use the pre-amps. USB mics will require adapters to work -pricing is high -it doesn’t work with 3.5mm Jack headphones you will need to buy 1/4” HJA4 adapters to listen back to your audio. -does not come with basic things you would expect for the £500 price tag, like a micro SD card or built in HDD. You need to buy a separate memory card Overall the mixer really is amazing, if you have lots of cash to spend on microphones, cables, and all the rest. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but they won’t look as good as this one. You get what you pay for basically!

Brilliant but of kit that has been faultless for years since purchase. Perfect quality, easy of use and support.

I wasn’t really in the market for a mixer, as I always thought they were unnecessarily complicated and pretty ugly! I was using a Rode Ai1(a great audio interface) with Voicemeeter potato but I really don’t like that software as it is clunky and quite aggravating. When I first saw video reviews of the ProCaster I thought it was more of the same until I paid a bit more attention and realised how much this would simplify my setup and add functionality. I love the physical faders, the useful screen and the in built features like the mix minus on some of the inputs, the onboard processing etc. I got it at a great price on Amazon and I am delighted with my purchase.

This is a brilliant piece of kit. Specifically designed for podcasting, I love the preset pads, the preset mic and sound controls and the way you can choose which of the preset effects/EQ you use. The ability to record directly to a card in the unit makes it perfect for portable podcasts that are as professional as when you are in your studio. And the ability to multitrack into Logic is immense.

This is an excellent mixer with great features and is well worth the cost. Easy to connect and sound quality is perfect. Great to use with telephone connection for live on air or recording.

Had seen lots of reviews about this and since lockdown, I had been doing a virtual social with some friends so was looking to up the audio side of it. Once it arrive and I was setting it up (which was very easy) I noticed this had a two pin plug and not a three pin plug for the UK. Luckily I had a travel plug that I could use to still us it and I've reached out to Rode who have helped me to talk to one of their UK suppliers to see if I can source a UK plug for it. Please check that the one you are getting has a UK plug if you are getting for the UK. Had to take a star off overall and accuracy due to the plug issue.

I purchased this to help start a school radio in my local area I have never used a deck before but have a background in IT. After watching the getting started video we now have a fully functioning radio and the kids broadcast live and can use the equipment with ease. Very good sound quality and easy to use defo recommend

Questo mixer a differenza di tutti i suoi concorrenti ha dalla sua una ergonomia e una praticità indubbiamente superiori, che lo rendono insuperabile anche nei live streaming. Le prestazioni audio sono ottime in qualunque situazione, ha un guadagno microfonico sufficiente per la maggior parte dei microfoni a condensatore, forse l'unica eccezione è rappresentata dallo Shure Sm7B per il quale potrebbe essere necessario un pre esterno. Il set di effetti interni non fa rimpiangere strumenti dedicati sia hardware che software, sono presenti un compressore, un deesser un noise gate e un paio di effetti di equalizzazione della gamma bassa e alta e dei preset per modelli specifici di microfoni Rode e di altre marche. Al momento in cui scrivo perché vengono aggiunti sempre nuovi effetti.. I continui aggiornamenti firmware ne fanno anche un apparecchio longevo da tutti i punti di vista. Il grande display frontale è touch quindi tutto viene comandato con un semplice tocco. Oltre a 4 ingressi microfonici (XLR) è possibile utilizzare anche uno smart phone, una porta usb per il pc, un ingresso bluetooth, tutti effettabili e mixabili in tempo reale. Più gli 8 pad per musica ed effetti liberamente editabili. Ha quattro uscite cuffia più una sul frontale e l'uscita preamplificata per monitor attivi o amplificatori. Ha uno alot di memoria sd per le registrazioni che possono essere o stereo o multitraccia. La descrizione potrebbe continuare molto perché ci sono moltre altre feature interessanti, chi fosse interessato non ha che da guardare il sito del produttore. Comunque lo possiedo ormai da quasi un anno ed è il miglior acquisto che abbia mai fatto per il mio studio di registrazione.

Es un producto increíble si lo que deseas es hacer un podcast ya sea grabado o en vivo, esta consola de audio te facilita muchísimo las cosas por su versatilidad yo la compre al proveedor "GTR GROUP" y hasta ahorita todo va muy bien, el detalle que tuve fue que la caja venia abierta y no contaba con el cable USB-C a USB-A que este incluye, tampoco traía los plásticos protectores que cubren la pantalla táctil y las perillas de los volúmenes de los audífonos, como el producto fue de importación posiblemente al pasar por las aduanas el paquete fue manipulado, pero esto no afecta su funcionamiento, solo lo que hice fue comprarle el cable que faltaba y listo, uno genérico por mientras y ya después comprar el cable original de Rode ya que este también se vende por separado. En si estoy muy contento por la compra y con el producto, insisto es muy versátil y funcional, saludos a todos y espero mi opinión les sirva de algo.

Llegó hoy, justo en la fecha prevista. Al abrirlo ves calidad, bien empaquetado y con todo el material protegido como debe. Trae lo necesario (sí, viene con el cable de alimentación para enchufar el transformador a la red electrica y con el enchufe adecuado para España (supongo que en otros países llevará el estándar adecuado). También lleva un cable USB-A - USB-C para conectarlo al ordenador. EL conector de corriente lleva una anilla roscada para asegurar y evitar que se suelte la clavija. En cuanto al funcionamiento, las primeras sensaciones son de una calidad absoluta. Lo primero es conectar e instalar los drivers, para después actualizar el firmware de la interfaz, así te aseguras de que está todo bien. Después ya es cosa de cada programa cómo lo configures, de los micros que tengas e ir viendo poco a poco todas las opciones (viene todo en inglés, pero es fácil de entender porque, de un modo u otro, los que andamos moviéndonos en el mundo del audio, podcastinmg y similares, conocemos los nombres y elementos usados). Por mi parte la compatibilidad es perfecta, ya que los micros que tengo son RODE ambos (PodMic y NT-2A). La conexión vía line o vía Bluetooth del teléfono es igualmente perfecta y sin problemas. Lo he probado (por ahora) con un programa básico como es Audacity, pero en próximos días lo haré con otros como Audition, Reaper (el recomendado por RODE) o Studio One.

Sprzęt był bardzo dobrze zabezpieczony i dotarł bez uszkodzeń. Jest jednak pewien problem - na 99% pochodzi ze zwrotu. W środku opakowania było rozdarcie, które świadczy o tym, że ktoś je wcześniej otworzył. Dodatkowo brakuje plastikowej osłonki na jeden suwak, co widać na zdjęciu. Przy zakupie sprzętu za taką kwotę oczekiwałem PRZYNAJMNIEJ kompletności. Liczę na to, że sprzedawca coś z tym zrobi.

La qualité de fabrication : TOP ! La qualité du traitement du son : Magnifique ! La qualité des options proposées : Superbes ! Quel plaisir ce Rodecaster, avec son écran intégré vous gérez tout, pas besoin de logiciel, tout est paramétrable directement. Couplé avec un Rode PodMic, la qualité du son en sortie est juste EXCELLENTE !! et une très bonne gestion de la sensibilité native. J'espère bien bientôt un firmware pour une gestion facile et poussé du routing son.
