Amazing phone case still using it after two years the magnet is super strong. Case is super durable. Just love it.

Below this review, is my first review, as I'm now on my second Rokform phone case, for my iPhone XR.I had my first Rokform magnetic case for nearly 4 years, before the cover for the magnet slowly began to flake away, and after the 4 year mark, was missing about half, which would cause the magnet to slide out of it's cut-out. I stick my phone to a lot of different oilfield equipment, for various reasons, in my line of duty, whether watching a video on how to perform an impromptu repair, using my phone as a flashlight, or using the magnet to pick up tools I've dropped. For the record, the magnet in this case will pick up tools that weigh about the same as a 12" crescent (adjustable) wrench. I loved my first case. Sadly, it met its time when the magnet began slipping out. I thought I'd be thrifty and order an under $10 magnetic case, that was clear and sleek. Upon arrival, that case didn't stick to anything, so I'm guessing the ring magnet was to just hold it to a charging station. I promptly returned it and went with old reliable. I absolutely love this Rokform case and was kinda disappointed when I bought a 10th gen iPad and found out that Rokform didn't have a case for it. Rokform, if you see this, I need to buy an iPad 10th gen case.After facing despair of not finding a phone case that covered the charging port, yet didn't fully encapsulate the phone like Lifeproof or Otterbox, I found this magnetic gem. The case fits the phone well, is rugged yet easily pocketable, and has a very strong magnet. This case does leave the charging port open, but I was sold when I saw that not only is it magnetic, but has a variety of vehicle mounting options for the quadlock, including a motorcycle handlebar mount (which I will be purchasing shortly).

*Originally thought that the magnet was the cause of the SIM card error message, was told the magnet would have to be a lot stronger on the inside of the case to cause a problem. Don’t know what is causing the issue but this is a great case and don’t feel it is right to blame it for something that I thought happened*I think that this is a great case, it feels good, not too bulky and is very durable. With the magnet and the Rockform mount I am confident I won’t lose my phone while riding my motorcycle. However I’ve started to notice that I would constantly get a “no sim card” message on my phone and lose cellular capabilities. If I take the case off I am able to get reception again. I think the magnet in the case interferes with my phone somehow. Not too sure if I will use it anymore while riding so kind of a bummer.

Great case with amazing utility! My phone has already taken a few times in the time I've had this case. Not only is the phone completely safe, the case itself is unscathed.The magnet is very handy! I've used my Rokform case to stick my phone to various spots in my woodshop and when working on my motorcycle, but what I didn't think about when I bought it is that I stick my phone to my fridge when I'm cooking in the kitchen.The case performs as advertised when I'm riding my motorcycle and exceeded expectations in other uses. I'd recommend this case to people even if they never had any intentions on mounting their phone to any type of handlebars

I liked this case because it was sturdy but I sent it back because the magnet was too small to stay on the car mount i bought with a large circular magnet.

I appreciate the design where the glass is lower than the case edge, therefore offering some protection. I appreciate the magnetic features as I use those at home and for placement of phone when I am out. Highly recommend. When I change phone models someday, I will be looking to Rokform for those needs.
