Q: How to change battery

The battery should last a year and then you can either take it to a jeweler and they will replace the battery or pry the back off with a small screwdriver being careful not to scratch the watch. Remove the battery and buy another and put it in and snap the back on.

Q: Does the watch actually work?

It works very well. Mine even had a plastic plug under the time setter so the battery was not running during delivery.

Q: Does Amazon offer any engraving for these pocket watches?

We took it to a local engraver to have it done. I didn't even check to see if Amazon would engrave it.

Q: Does every watch come with a battery? I got mine yesterday, and I can adjust the time and everything, but it doesn't actually work.

If mine has a battery, I have no idea where it would be located. For the longest time I didn't know how to adjust the time so you are clearly smarter than me. However, my watch was working as soon as I took it out of the package.
