Yes! it is completely hidden, and sits inside your hear. Only you can hear from it. It is virtually undetectable.

How long does the battery last?

it´s about 6-8 hours, I open the hatch (where the battery is) when I´m not using the device so I can use it longer. (It probably last's longer but u loose volume, when the volume goes down i change the battery). I bought a bunch of these batteries somehere on amazon, where I found them cheap. - Hope that helps

can i use this to transmit audio to a person wearing the ear piece who is inside another room

When you make a phone call to the person wearing the ear piece who is inside another room ,he/she will hear your voice and can talk with you. just like the normal earphone with Mic.
