A LOUD Alarm
The media could not be loaded. Excellent LOUD alarm for the shed (& it’d work in other places too obviously) I’ve just put mine in the shed as well I’ve got a lawnmower, a strimmer, a leaf blower/hoover, hedge cutters, a chainsaw & spades & a pitchfork, rake & general stuff for the gardens & I’ve got tools in there like a drill & electric saw the kinda stuff I only carry when needed, there’s bird feeding stuff l, plant & grass feed & seeds, there’s exterior paints & even a freezer full of food so I wanted a panic situation for any thieving intruder & that noise from the alarm would firstly shock any intruder as it’s that loud & thieves don’t want attention & this is exactly what this pretty cheap little alarm does, it’d draw attention to our shed in the middle of the night, our shed would be the main focus of the surrounding area & any thief or thieves (they work in at least pairs these days) would be straight out of there empty handed so job done!A product that’s well worth the money & I’ve read how simple it is to set up on others reviews & it is simple, put in your own personal 4-digit code & it is really so simple to set up, really easy! I used top quality sticky pads to get mine up as there was no way I was getting my drill into the good old fashioned solid bricks there (pictured) but it’s up on the wall solidly.I’ve left a brief video of my old graffiti covered shed & I don’t know if my phone has a noise reduction feature but the alarm is a lot louder in reality than it is in the video, imagine you’ve just broken in & you’re routing about for a lawnmower or a bicycle to steal & that alarm goes off, after the initial shock you’d run that’d just be built in instinct to a thief.

Wow its loud
Bought this with caution due to other reviews as a second alarm for my man cave/shed/workshop, this is brilliant i have had no issues at all its LOUD so be warned, as soon as i enter it beeps but i have put a bit of white insulation tape over the LED as i have another alarm straight in front of you as you walk in, its screwed up pretty high too so its out of sight by the time any one has got to the first alarm this thing will be ringing and believe me it will wake up the street, my only criticism is, as a man i didn't read the full instruction *LOL* so didnt know you pressed 4 to turn it on and if you incorporate 4 into your key word like i did then you type in the pass key to activate it *that's what i thought* when you try to turn it off it will not accept your pass key as you have pressed basically random numbers so dont screw it in place until you are sure you know how to work it *that's how i know its loud* personally if Yale do read these it would be a better design to put a small button with a picture of a key on at the bottom under the numbers so you press that to activate it making it simple for simple minded men like myself lol.

Good layer of security for the price
I have three of these. They are easy to install and my original one works well and gives some peace of mind. The other two haven't been as good as the keys have become sticky, I don't know why, maybe because they aren't used as much. You press a button, nothing seems to happen, so you press again and it then records two pushes and you lose track of how much of the code you have entered the alarm goes off. Sometimes you can re-enter the code and it is ok but they probably need replacing.Overall good for the price but the buttons can be temperamental
