I am using this mic upstairs and I want to know is there away to adjust volume. It keeps picking up tv's etc... from downstairs?

There is no adjustment for the volume you record at on the mic itself. All you need to do is adjust the record level on the software you record with (I use Audacity , its a legal free download and very good, just google it). The mic is a good quality piece of kit for not a lot of cash and its sensitivity is a good thing in my opinion :-)

Yes, this mic works only with wired headphones as there is a 3.5 mm port.

Would this be good for hypnosis recordings ?

Just bought the mic, Will I need a pop filter and shock mount?

I bought one on another amazon account and I would recommend you get a shock mount and pop filter at some point.... Although the sound is crystal clear, try and turn the mic volume down a little and close any doors and windows for minimal background noise. Also using something like audacity to get rid of extra white noise can help. But for the money, a very, very good microphone.
