Q: Is there any way to verify that these are actually antimicrobial? Besides the advertising I can’t find anything on Microbans side of things.

Q: Will these get knife marks easily and do they stain from food?

Mine does get very faint knife marks- hard to see unless you look closely and it has not been stained by foods that we chop that normally would stain.

Q: Are these made in USA?

I no longer have the packaging that they came in after months of use, but I'd imagine that it's safe to say.....NO

Q: how thick is each one?

Not very thick: ~ 1/3 inch. That said, it is very sturdy. Does not move on the counter even though it is lightweight, compared to my previous one. I'm very happy with it. Wipes off easily, doesn't stain. Initially I wished it were a bit larger but I have gotten used to it and am very happy with it.
