Q: How is this different than the Vetrolin detangler and is it good for dry mane/tail? Thanks.

It's as good as the detangler it's really about the same and works great. I've used it on my horses for tangles and it works like a charm.

Q: Will this help with dandruff and sebum along the tail bone? I need a good conditioning spray to help moisturize the tail

I’m not sure the correct answer about being safe for dogs but will tell you I use this product for my ponies and do use it on my dog as well with no problem makes his coat shiny and smells good.
