Does this light have a flashing mode?

No. Our XL SpotLit does not have a flash mode. Is the metal clip on this black gun metal? Or is it just silver??

Is this water proof like the battery style one?

Yes! It’s fabulous. I have 3 and the dogs are in the lake with them constantly. No more dead batteries that are a PIA to replace if you just don’t buy new ones instead like I let doing. They charge in an hour or 2 and last 8-10.
