will this backpack be good for high school?

It's a great back pack for school, with quite a few assorted pockets. The only thing I wish had was a collapsing strap with buckles. It's got a laptop sleeve that's good for a 17 inch 2010 laptop and a great little compartment for something small, like a portable hard drive. The second biggest zipper pocket is good in theory, but I always get stuff lost in that pocket, since ours so big. Not my favorite back pack, but I'm just set in my ways.

Can it also fit a change of clothes, some travel essentials & a folder along with the laptop?

Yes but it doesn't have side pockets which is a bummer and the overall capacity is still sluggish as compared to my earlier swinger backpack

does it fit under most airplane seats?

Yes, it fits easily under airplane seats. I used it on my most recent trip to NYC.

Great, Durable Bag
