As a kid I grew up loving the arcades. It is a shame that the pandemic has limited us to stay at home. This unit is an awesome system to practice your favorite fighting games and the variations and hacks of those games make for a real test of your gaming abilities. The unit is not perfect, expect screen tarring and aspect ratio problems. If your tv can force the 4:3 perspective you will want to use that option. Midway's best games are broken so don't expect to play MK or NBA Jam. On the other hand, if you are a Neo Geo fanatic this package might really blow your socks right off. 3D games are limited in number but run well and you get the first three Tekken games. The materials used for the stick and buttons are not that great. A teenager or strong kid could destroy them. If you have a one up arcade or played on one it is sound that quality and played reasonably can last a while. Overall this is a great value. For less than the cost of a switch lite it packs a mega punch. Bring out your boom box, jam some LL Cool J, and make your 90s dream come true!

The library of games was great but the controls lagged so much they were basically unplayable

The game system was complete. But it looks used on the surface - a few scratches and wear in the sticker design on top. A small piece was rattling around inside - it was a plastic clip tip - doesn’t seem too necessary for the game. Other than that, as described. Shipping was a little behind but decent.

As per the reviews there are a lot of repeat/variations of games. I researched the product and read the various reviews with a clear understanding of this prior to purchasing. For me it checks the boxes for the classics like pac-man, donkey kong, galaga, space invaders, spy hunter as well as many others. The search option does populate the list as you put in letters which is a nice feature. I purchased this ahead of a 1up cabinet to see if it could hold my interest and have come across some videos of people putting this controller and a monitor into an empty cabinet with a decent results at a fraction of the cost.

Love it! The game comes plug in and play. No installations needed and lots of games available. Will definitely recommend it to friends and families. You can bring it to a party too and set up easily. Great for people to engage. Theres games like GEM fighter and puzzle that kids would love to play as well. Saves lots of money from going to arcade.Speakers ok the console is great. Loud and clear.
