Removed old and put the new one on. Minor adjustments. Started on first pull. No adjustments required.

Very easy install.
Installation was a breeze. Worked first pull on my log splitter. I've gone through a tank and a half of gas and absolutely no problems. I've never done any work with a carburetor before. I was a little intimidated at the prospect of changing the carburetor on my log splitter but it was very simple.

started on first pull without starter fluid!
Watched a bunch of youtube videos on trying to clean carb jets, etc, and when I saw the price of this, it only made sense that if I had to pull the carb to clean it, 99% of the work was done in just replacing it. But also, this kit included new gaskets, fuel line, etc, so replacing everything was simple. Watch a youtube on the sizes, and have a gas container handy to drain your tank to replace the fuel line. My fuel line certainly had buildup after 4-5 years, as I could tell from the slowness of draining. Only item that was slightly imperfect was the last gasket appeared so be slightly larger - only slightly - than the original. Had to make certain it seated properly, which it did, but took a little extra attention. The entire process was done in 25 minutes, and my engine started on the very first pull!

Problem solved
It came with a condenser and a plug, so in that order I began the swap to see if the engine started. Then I swapped the carburetor set the choke on and boom drop the mic, it started right up. It's 24F outside so I warmed up the engine before all testing, with a 9kbtu Mr. Heater about 18 inches back. Note: 30 weight Opti oil. 9kbtu is like two 1500 watt portable barn heaters on high (3.14 * 3000 = 9420kbtu).

Beyond happy! WAY BETTER than my hopes or expectations!!!
I was SO frustrated with my log splitter... for _2_ years.It only ran on full choke and then recently it wouldn't even do that.I spent hours trying to clean the carborator getting covered with fuel, jet cleaner, and scaring my dog with me getting SO FRUSTRATED.I _assumed_ a new carb would be expensive and I found this.... and had doubts.I didn't read the description fully so I ordered it and also fuel line and filter.This kit came with the carb... AND the fuel line AND the fuel filter AND the on/off switch AND another electronic thing (not sure) AND the new gaskets AND a spark plug.It took 5 minutes to install the fuel line, filter, and carb and now my splitter runs like new.WT!?!?! did I wait so long for!I just ordered another one to have on my pegboard in case some idiot (me) forgets to use Stabil in the fuel line again.
