Super cushiony. I’m not scared to damage my floor where doing deadlifts or hip thrust or putting weights down on my floor now.

I ordered 4 sets of these to put down in my living room during the Covid-19 quarantine so I could get a decent workout while my gym was closed. I trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on them and they did the trick pretty well. After a solid month of use 3-4 days a week my gym opened back up and so, I don't need them anymore but they performed very well while I needed them. A few things to note. 1) These are a very light foam and even with 4 sets combined and laid out on the floor they will still move around a bit under strong exercise. Not enough to trip you up (like a rug being pulled out from under you) but enough to need adjusted after an hour or two. 2) Like most things these days (think 2x4 boards) these aren't exactly the thickness listed. I ordered the 1" mats and they measure in at 7/8" exactly. I actually expected them to be closer to 3/4 inch so, I'm not terribly disappointed in this. 3) I laid these over carpet in my living room and they were fine for grappling, gi or no-gi, but I definitely wouldn't practice any Judo on them...they are just not thick enough for that. 4) I would expect these to be too light and soft for serious weight-lifting (think crossfit). The drop of weights would, I think, crush the cells very quickly and tear through the light foam easily. Otherwise, if you are looking for a light, cheap padding for grappling or kids playing on concrete or similar I think these would work great for you!

Something that I didn't see anywhere in the description is the fact that EVA foam tiles like these have about 6.5 to 7.0 "R" rating for heat insulation per inch of thickness. That's a lot! I laid mine out on my boat's floor and the hull walls inside cabinets and the v-berth and it does an excellent job of trapping that extra bit of heat during the cold months aboard. The tiles are very easy to cut with a sharp knife, and I had no problem trimming them all to fit in some odd-angled spaces. Also, at 1" thickness you really start to get some rigidity out of the tiles, whereas the thin tiles you might find at Home Depot and the like tend to curl rather easily after a bit of use. I am very pleased with these tiles.

I used this bad boy under my parents' broken, wobbly washing machine. It helped to level out the floor, keeps the washer from walking around, quieted the thing, and likely (to Mom's chagrin) added a few years to the clothes cleaner. The only downside is that a cat likes to scratch at it. I used some double stick tape to annoy kitty claws.Great product. I will purchase again for a gym purpose once we reach that phase of renovation.

These mats are thick, easy to clean, and students enjoy playing on it.

Our daughter is starting to sit up on her own, but she keeps falling sometimes. Since our apartment has only hardwood floors it involves a little knock to her head. We got this floor mat and she has fallen twice since and does not cry thanks to the cushioned surface. We notice she plays for a longer time period also as she is probably more comfortable not being on the hard wood floor.

These are the best and softest mats we have ever had in our marketing trade show booth.

I bought these for deadlifting and other workout activities.1-inch thick mats eliminate loud noises from dropping weights quite well.3 straight pads are more than enough to cover the length of 6' barbell.Price is reasonable in my opinion.
