The Color Monster: A Story About Emotions (The Color Monster, 1) Board book – June 29, 2021

My son is on the autism spectrum and has trouble with emotional awareness and regulation. This book helped him learn to identify and label some of the major emotions (by associating them with colors), which helps him understand and express how he's feeling. It's limited to a few emotions (happiness, sadness, calm, anger, fear, love) but that's a good start.

日本語のポップアップブックがとても素敵で、1歳の子が自由に触れるようにまずは原作のボードブックを購入しました。1歳には少し長いかなと思っていましたが、飽きることなく聞くことができて毎日読んでいるお気に入りの一冊です。

My child loves the character and this book.

息子のスクールで紹介していて知りました。小さな子にとっての感情コントロールは難しいと思いますが、優しい絵と色使いで、分かりやすく表現してます。注文したのを忘れた頃に届きましたが、かえって新鮮でした。

孫には難しい英語でしたが、絵を見るだけでも楽しめました。
