it's a small, soft inflatable ball, a good size for a small child's hands.

Can you all send me directions my box did not have any

I gave my kiddie basketball arcade game as a gift for my great nephew (my nephew's son) so I don't have the instructions. My suggestion is to contact the company directly and ask as well as, if interested in doing so, the seller. Some party should get you the directions.

The suggested age is 5 and up, but the picture shows a two year old playing. Will it be too small for a 5 year old?

Not at all. My 7 and 12 year old grandsons also play with it. Too rough sometimes but it is made really strong and has held up to rough play. My now 3 year old grandson & I play everyday. Loving it.
