It works with Cricket Wireless...
I just want to start with I wasn't sure if it would work with my wireless carrier that it is Cricket Wireless because I had a bad experience ordering a phone online (not in Amazon) in the end it wasn't compatible with Cricke Wireless so I had to go through the process of returning the phone and I didn't want to do that any more but this phone is completely compatible with Cricket Wireless so hopenthat helps someone if they have the same wireless carrier. In another note this my third phone after accidentally breaking two phones first one a razr 2024 then a samsung galaxy a54 5g so I decided to stick with samsung because I loved my other samsung galaxy but I didn't want to spend so much money after my experience of breaking two that were not very expensive but also they were not cheap so I order this one and I am not disappointed works great and very responsive the best part is that worked with Cricket Wireless like I have mentioned before I am so happy that I have a Samsung phone again that is a great phone and I didn't spend so much money. Highly recommend it it gives you phone update quite often so you are updated on the quality and performance now I don't know much about technology at my 30's but I know when a phone works good and this one does. I love it. Got the light grey and it's beautiful.

A bang for your buck
Given that I bought it for less than 190 bucks, I wasn’t having any great expectations. I had to buy a new phone fast because my A54 died on me out of nowhere. This phone wasn't as big of a downgrade as I thought. Good memory, has expendable memory and some good battery life (use it for half a day of YouTube spends 40-30 percent)Of course, if you want to play games without breaking your balance account then you better look for an A50 series or just a Samsung FE's (if you don't mind giving up expandable storage)

It is decent
This phone is decent, considering how cheap it is. It works great and has yet to malfunction or let me down. Some things I discovered only after I bought it: There is no headphone jack, you will have to buy an adapter or use a wireless headphone set; The battery does not last a long time the way a brand new phone should, it lasts about as long as the phone that I replaced with this one; you cannot see the notification preview until the phone is unlocked; there are apps working in the background that turn the data on without you knowing, which is a settings thing that I have not figured out yet.All in all, it is a decent phone considering I did not want to pay too too much. None of the above prevent the phone from being used to its full capacity. They are just things to keep in mind.

Android Phone
Bought this phone for my husband. He loves how easy it is to connect to different sites and apps or whatever they're call for an android. The battery life is good it functionality is easy to use for him. It charges the regular charging time. You can swipe to unlock it or use a code. It had a pretty good amount of memory. My husband loves it.

An upgrade from the A13 5G phone
I recently replaced my Samsung A13 5G Phone to the Samsung A16 5G phone. Had no trouble with set up, just popped the SIM and Micro SD card from the old to the new and it worked like a charm. Got 5G from AT&T right away, and WIFI connection was a breeze. Storage is decent, but I don't have many Apps on it. Speed is better then the A13 and unlocking is the same. Used Samsung Smart Switch to move everything over with no issues. I had my A13 for about 4 years now, so I'm sure this one will last as long. Actually, all my older Samsung phones still have decent battery life, and every Android phone I own still works. My iPhone 4 was totally dead in 3 years, my old 10 year old Motorola $35 smart phone still wakes me up in the morning.

Brand Loyal and Reputation Standing
It has definitely fulfilled all my senior parents needs and wants in a smartphone and then some. The minor issues with the features and quality of the camera is what you would expect in a entry level smartphone. So far, no major problems or issues straight out of the box. It was worth the price and brand reputation.

It's okay
Truly I'm not that impressed. I did so much research before deciding on this phone. I had my s20 ultra for so long but the screen finally gave out and I had to replace it. I no longer game on my phone so I didn't need as much space or screen so I did all kind of research to decide which Samsung to get and this was so budget friendly and had great reviews. I'm not sure if I got a faulty one or what but it's very slow. Extreme lag time between touching a button and it actually acknowledging I touched it. I will stick with the s series from now on. But it functions. It does the job.

Great phone- bad charging cable!
The Good: The phone is as good as it gets. It works well and consistent. Samsung has done well with the design of the Galaxy phones and A 16 is no exception. Buy it!The Bad: The charging cable does not work! This is the second new Samsung Galaxy I have bought where the cheap non functional charging cable was provided and did not work! Just be ready to buy another cable to charge your phone. I took one star from the rating.
