It's a nice grow bag, packaged wonderfully but IT DOES NOT COME WITH SPORES. You have to buy that separately (or culture your own if you are that talented). My fault for not reading thoroughly. I did buy liquid spores but did not have success. I think my area was too cool. It was my first attempt. Not sure if there will be more. Seems cheaper to just buy them.

I've purchased a few of these now. I've looked into making my own substrate, but it seems, with the amount of product required and work, that this actually works out to be a bit cheaper. They work well for initial inoculation. I then move them to a monotub to fruit. I'm on my second now, and had 3 flushes for the first bag.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:first 6 lb grow bag i have seen before and the packaging inside was A+++, better than any other bags i have used before and they also have great customer service !!!! amazing product, very easy to use

I’m a little let down, my bag came just in a box not vacuum sealed or even in another bag, the inside was bone dry, when I added my culture it colonized for a few days and then completely stalled due too the dryness of the grains, even if I do get the whole thing to colonize, it will not be able to fruit as mushrooms are 90% water and there is absolutely no moisture in this bag. Also the filter patch just doesn’t function at all so I can’t do any gas exchange, very let down waste of time and money I learned the lesson the hard way, never buy all in one bags that are less than 5lbs they just don’t have the capacity to hold enough moisture all the way through fruiting.

Bought two of these and now have two solid myco blocks ready to fruit. these were definitely sterile and well prepared, thank you guys for your attention to details.

We bought two of these. We inoculated both using the same strain and technique (e.g. we followed the instructions). One bag flourished as the ad copy said it would. The other started OK and then failed. After many weeks, with zero new mycelium, we tossed the bag in frustration. We're not sure we'll use the product again. Too much heartache! .

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Sealed tight, no leaks. Substrate well hydrated, no contamination. Mycellium exploded, just as it should! Will reorder for sure!
