Quick & strong frame fixing
I am replacing the old door frames in my garage/workshop. These 120mm hammer-in fasteners were perfect and have produced solid fixings for wooden frames in brick. I would recommend them.

If it doesn't work, you did it wrong or bought the wrong thing.
First thing, reads the specs folks! Theres even a QR code on the box to help. The hole is 8mm but the nail is 4.7mm diameter, these are only rated for 27kg in concrete and 24kg in brick. The 10mm SXRL version is 10 times that if you need strengthFisher quality control is top, if they are bending and breaking its 99.999% likely to be your fault.a) you drilled the wrong size holeb) you drilled the wrong depth holec) you failed to clean the dust out of the hole.d) you didn't read the specs and bought the wrong fittinge) your hammer technique is terrible and/or you used a BFH

Flimsy metal
Plus: cheap priceMinus: flimsy, have to be gentle with hammer, maybe best to use rubber mallet, otherwise easily bends screw. May have had faulty batch, but 4 out of the 10 I used failed. Overall would spend more & buy higher quality next time, as not had this problem previously.
