Mixed Results - Great Hydration, But Lacking Substance
As a holistic-minded cat parent, I appreciate that this wet food provides excellent hydration for growing kittens - the high moisture content actually mimics what kittens would get from natural prey and supports their developing kidneys. That’s definitely a positive from a natural nutrition standpoint.However, I was disappointed by the minimal meat content. Most cans contained what I’d describe as “a few flakes of meat” swimming in a lot of liquid. For a growing kitten who needs substantial protein for development, this felt more like expensive flavored water than a nutritious meal.The variety pack revealed my kitten’s clear preference for chicken - she would eagerly eat those flavors while completely ignoring others like beef and tuna. This taught me that individual chicken varieties might be a better investment than variety packs for picky eaters.
