Is there a trick to separating the bowls?

I did not find a trick, I tried and tried, then I took a rubber spatula and slowly pried them apart. Once apart, the suction was gone. I've stacked them since then and they don't stick. It would be nice if the manufacturer put a piece of wax paper between the bowls before sealing them in the cellophane bag. Good luck!!

It’s non-magnetic it’s probably 304 stainless or a 300 series stainless

What ‘gauge’ of stainless steel are these bowls?

No idea. I wouldn't say it's a heavy gauge but it's not the lightest pet bowl I've purchased before.

Gorilla Grip is an American Company and the distributor, Hills Point, is based in Connecticut. I have been using them for my 80lb GSD for abt a year and they show no wear and tear.
