Great purchase. We originally bought these to use with chafing dishes, but ended up returning those and keeping these. We use them often as we entertain frequently. They are sturdy and add a nice upgrade to our platters

I ordered these tongs for our Golden (50th) wedding anniversary celebrations, for the fun of having the gold metal finish. These good-looking tongs arrived speedily in a set of four, tied together with baggie ties, and in individual packages to prevent scratching. The size is great for picking up almost anything from a platter - not too small, not too long. The price was economical. But I would have happily paid more to have tongs with a loop to slide down, to make them stay closed when not being used. That way they would fit better in a drawer or other storage location, and be better behaving sitting on a serving table.
