I thoroughly enjoy this Bible and have had it for a little while now. Carry it in my backpack all the time, perfect for when your on the go. I read this at Work during downtime, I read it before Service on Sundays, when I'm riding passenger every now and then as well as on camping trips for that late night word before ever so sweet slumber. Gold binding, red satin ribbin to mark your place as well as it folds in with a button so it preserves the binding and pages. Easy for comfort reading, not to big not to small. This Bible quickly grew on me as I saw how perfect it was for travel.

I really love this travel Bible. I almost exclusively read NJKV and I had not found a compact Bible containing the OT and NT until this Bible. Its print is small, but I'm able to use it for my Bible in One Year plan while I'm traveling, without weighing my luggage or purse down. Highly recommended.

I think this would make a great travel Bible if you didn't want to use any kind of case or cover. The protective flap closes with a positive snap of the button that takes an intentional effort to uncap. The text is very clear and legible, despite its compact size. Both the black and red letters are very legible as well. Being NKJV, it still comes with a decent amount of footnotes on cross references and variants. Where appropriate, the text is laid out in paragraph format, but the poetry sections are lined out as you would expect. I got this Bible with the intention of using it as a travel Bible...but I've ended up just using one of my other Bibles in a case. That said, I've not used this Bible very much. The cover feels very stiff to me, and I have concerns that with a lot of use, the protective cover may experience some cracking. I still think this Bible is a great travel option if you are looking for protection in a minimalist package, but if I were just looking for a compact NKJV, I would suggest looking at something like the NKJV Maclaren Compact. When I purchased these the price was similar, but the Maclaren has, in my opinion, a better look, feel, and readability, IF you don't need the protective flap. However, the only reason I don't give this edition 5 stars is the stiffness of the cover and flap.

This is the neatest smaller bible! Grandson wanted this for his birthday and he loves it to carry! He shows it to adults also and everyone really liked it, I might order me one.
