This product is probably the best mineral spf I’ve ever used in my life, I know some people have a lot of negative things to say but hear me out. This spf lip balm is like one of the few of its kind and for ONLY $7 !!?? It has non nano zinc, which most companies use chemical spf’s in their lip balms which taste awful, I have one chemical spf lip balm that I swear by that’s from okeefs but I wanted to try a mineral sunscreen because I want to kiss my baby without putting chemical spf on her and I wanted to try more lip balms other than my signature favorite by okeefs! I was looking for a clean zinc formula with non nano and most were expensive and left a white tint and then I saw this one and it was only $7!! Whaaaat! Non nano zinc formula with a TINT and an eco conscious brand!!? I know people don’t like the packaging but I love that it’s environmentally friendly, I don’t mind it at all! The ONLY thing that I did not like is the tint it leaves on me. I know I said I love that it’s tinted, I do I really love that it’s tinted and that it doesn’t leave my lips stark white but the tint itself is still too light, if it was a true universal nude I think it would need to be just a bit more brown in the color. It’s a very pale baby pink with a slight yellow peach undertone and it looks so bad on me. I am very pale but it so happens that I’m a yellow/olive pale so it washes me completely out! Still I prefer this tint over no tint! I would recommend this to everyone 100%

This product is overall nice. The color is a nice subtle color. It is smooth and creamy. I haven’t been sunburned so it seems to protect from sunburn. My only complaint is that the stick itself is wider than most lip balms, so I have to go a lot slower so it doesn’t go off my lips.I’ve had no issues with the cardboard tube.

First let’s start off with the important part. This lip balm is a different formula than the original. I buy their original and it has great coverage and lasts. With this new lip balm package this company does not deliver the same product as their original. When applied it does not have any staying power. You must keep applying over and over every twenty minutes to get any protection. Love the idea of a compostable package but not worth the money when the lip balm is lacking in quality. Such a bummer.

It does glide smoothly, probably due to the oil content but I don't find it moisturizing at all. Feels like I layered chalk on my lips. When I say chalk, it's not the color. For me, the color is actually my natural lip color. It just feels dry.

First off they need more colors. Secondly nice idea but the cardboard ain’t it. It’s very hard to push up the tube and then you have to push it down with your fingers or your lips. It’s very messy and forget about leaving this in the car in the heat, it’ll go everywhere. On top of that when you receive your container, you really don’t know if it’s been used or not because they only used plastic to seal the TOP part, but the bottom half could’ve easily been opened by someone, looked at, tried on and then put back in. There’s a reason why plastic works. It keeps products safe and reliably uncontaminated.

Love that this sunscreen isn’t grainy, no weird white cast, and is a physical sunscreen with no titanium dioxide. I got the coconut one which smells great. Also the tint matches lip color well when applied (3 different people in my house with same results), so works great for men, women, or kids that don’t want a lipstick look. The plastic free tube is a great bonus. Only downside to this is that the lid is very easy to come off so it makes taking it to go a bit tougher. It really needs like a little nub to secure it closed. Other than that, this sunscreen lip balm is the best!
