an excellent addition to a small kitchen
this was a replacement for another induction hob which stopped working after more than 20 years. So this has more feature and better temp control than my old one. It works very well

Amazing value
Currently undergoing a total kitchen refurbishment and was looking for additional cooking facilities. This piece of kit is amazing! It heats up incredibly quickly, with instant temperature control. Food brought to the boil much faster than gas, maintaining heat, with the ability to increase or decrease at the touch of a button with a near instant reaction time. Food cooked quicker than on the gas hob as well. Will keep this once the new kitchen installed as a handy backup to new hob. Great value a well, what’s not to love?

Good controls but noisy
Bought this to replace a single induction hob that I broke by dropping a tin can on it. This is vastly superior. Very quick and has more power/temperature settings and faster cycle between heat and not than our previous one, giving more control. Simmer/gentle boil is often hard to get with induction hobs; they tend to cycle between rapid boil and nothing. This comes a lot closer than our previous hob so I’m happy. The fan is, however, quite a bit noisier.

Not controllable
These induction hobs are absolute rubbish! This one it is presented on multiple sites as one of the best. They are crap. They do not have a increasing induction field to increase the temperature. The way they achieve this is by increasing the time the field is actuated. To be more precise, for example, at max the field is active continuously. At next lower level the field is active for 55 seconds and shuts down for 5 seconds, for the next lower level it is active for 50 seconds and is inactive for 10 seconds. You get the idea. Now, what this does at lower levels is boiling like crazy for five seconds and then shuts dawn for another ten, making water boil so intensely that it splashes all over the induction hub, and bear in mind, the induction hub is fed from 230V from the plug. These induction hubs are a great danger to you. If you don’t believe me, then spend £50, buy it, and see for yourself.I honestly tried to get rid of the dangerous gases from the gas hubs and go electric knowing that the efficiency of an electric hub would make up for the higher price of electricity compared to gas and get rid of a major source of pollution and green house gases, but there is no way I will use these induction hubs the way they are built now. They are absolutely crap and a danger to use. You risk scalding yourself with the aggressive bubbling water and at the same time electrocuting and starting a fire with the water getting in the machine. There is not even a lip on the outside edge to guide the water away from the electrical part and on the table. The water that splashes just runs on the surface and then inside through the grilles. It is that badly designed! I looked at other induction hubs and they have the same stupid design. These hubs are so dangerous that I don’t understand how is it possible to be approved as a house appliance. Are the regulators so blind of what is happening?

Works fine. Some flaws
Works fine most of the time.Occasionally error codes randomly, needs switching on and off.Spillages on it cause controls to go haywire. Reach for the socket switch.Overall, middling..

Good while it lasted!
We purchased this induction top to use while we did a kitchen renovation. It completely served its purpose while it lasted, but I think that we wore it out! We used it every day, and by the end of a few months it didn't seem to work as efficiently as when we started. The Plastic seal also seemed to come unstuck. I would purchase again for an additional cooking top, or temporary use.
