Are the nut and saddle plastic or bone?

Plastic I put in bone in both the saddle and the nut, set the bow in the neck to .015 inches. I had to take 3mm off the saddle and 1mm off the nut to get string hight. I also put in 12-54 DR "black beauties" Sounds great now!

Are these guitars intonated before shipping?

No they are not. And tbh..when you do receive it good luck tuning it on any tuner. Very disappointed when hot the guitar..sent it back. Would not recommend for beginner to try to learn tuning or anything else for that matter.

No, the cutaway is on the wrong side

Is this a semi-acoustic guitar?

It's acoustic with electric. Uses 9 volt battery Needs to be set up, just fyi
