(STILL) Totally Satisfied- Update after a year
So I've been researching solar generators for a couple years now, reading/watching about anything I can find & Ecoflow has been the front runner on almost every review I've seen. My main interest in these was for back up power in case of the "dreaded grid failure" here at home, plus I have a little camp out in the woods of Alabama, 600 miles away that I spend about 4 weeks a year at & when the power goes out there, it's DARK! I mainly just need to power my coffee maker, mini fridge, ice maker, microwave, a lamp & charge my tool batteries. I decided on purchasing the River 2 Max & I LOVE it! It's small, weighs under 15 pounds, has 4 AC outputs & 4 DC. When it arrived it was charged to 30%, I had it up to 100% in a little over 30 minutes. It also has the inverter built in, so no power brick to pack up & can also be charged by your vehicle or solar panel. For glamping, using around the backyard when you don't want to run an extension cord or have AC power in your vehicle, this thing is perfect. I do not have any regrets buying this unit, I would recommend it to anyone & it's very inexpensive for what you get, compared to what I've researched. It also ships quickly & Ecoflow's communication is outstanding before & after the sale. UPDATE: Of my three solar generators, this is still my go-to & favorite. It's been a great during power outages at home, keeping my internet, Wi-Fi & some lights on. I've taken it camping & I use it at my cabin when I don't want to run extension cords. My latest use, I've been providing music & public address system for my class reunions for 25 years. This past weekend was our 50th, yes I'm old. One of the biggest hassles is dealing with my 4 outlet, heavy duty extension cord. Besides hauling it, trying to avoid a trip hazard & trying to hide the big ugly thing, it's heavy & a pain to roll back up. This time I used my River 2 Max & it was a piece of cake. I had everything confined to one small area, powered my sound system & laptop for over 6 hours, with no unsightly cables. It also made set-up & packing out much easier & faster. It still had over 70% power left when I shut it down & bonus, it's about 5 lbs lighter than my extension cord. I also found the app very handy to keep an eye on the power usage. I have no doubts this unit will outlast me. Thank you Eco-Flow for your fine products, had I started with Eco-Flow, it would be the only brand I own.

Ideal Size with superior recharging abilities.
After purchasing previous Ecoflow products I decided to take a shot on this little power house. And well, all I can say is It did not disappoint !! This is a perfect sized unit for portability and proportional power capacity for being on the move. Easily my new choice for camping and away trips. What really impresses me is the recharging of this model, especially solar recharging. I've charged it from 0% -100% with 2 - 100w Ecoflow rigid panels in series and by a single 220 portable solar panel, both ways in under 3 hours. I also solar charged while putting it under a load of 2 fans pulling 30-40W each and was amazed at how the max continued to charge at a seemingly superfast rate. I like to call it a good "hard charge" too, a charge that backs up what the numbers are tellin' ya'.This easily powers a big screen tv and will power my pellet stove if needed for a couple of hours. I use it almost daily for recharging devices, some lights, a boom box radio and a fan when its not in the outdoors working or enjoying the sun and the fun. If your looking for something to carry it in try using a small tote with a lid, you can customize it by drilling/cutting holes to allow for wires, helps keep the sun and elements off it while maintaining portability. Also a place to carry charging wires etc. and a bit more protection than a backpack when needed. The phone app works very well to monitor the charge levels and the internal battery temp. Overall, if you're thinking of getting this model I wouldn't hesitate, also comes with a 5 year warranty ! What's not to love. Great customer service from this company too.

Another great product from EcoFlow!
Arrived in sturdy but not excessive packaging, charged to 30% capacity.Like all EcoFlow batteries, this charges quicker than most other brands and works with their EF app so you can monitor battery status when you're out of the house. Useful if you're using it as a backup battery while on vacation.Like the other River battery I've tested (1st Gen River Pro), this wasn't quite able to power my full-sized fridge. But I have the Delta 2 for that now and I really didn't expect it to work with lower specs than the River Pro.It was able to boil water for tea, though it took longer than using wall power, because the X-Boost allows the unit to drop voltage and raise the current, which is what heating elements need. Reaching a full boil took about 8 minutes and 20% of the battery capacity. The battery charges to full in about an hour just like advertised and the USB-C outlet charges my phone at full fast charge speed. It's a nice compact unit for going car camping or to the beach just to run some lights, radio, phones, etc. Running a lamp, a TV and a Bluray player it and it said it would last an hour on 32% charge. So that's plenty for a movie or two if the power's out!Disclaimer - EcoFlow provided me a unit to review.
